92 reviewsI booked this spot on a whim (2 hours before arriving around 9:30 PM), and was a bit skeptical with the low prices. I opted for the deluxe room, which was supposed to be nearly 700 sq feet, but I braced myself for anything, as I'd paid so little. When I arrived, I was greeted by the manager and informed him that I was checking in. He hadn't seen the reservation and informed me, "This is a problem -- your room isn't ready... we still need to clean it." "Oh. Okay. How long will that take?" I asked, expecting an hour or two. "Maybe 10 minutes?" "Oh! No problem!" I waited no more than 5 minutes, and the room was ready. ...I was ready to find myself staying in the most disgusting room of my travels. Well, I was completely wrong. I was escorted up to my room and was amazed to find a massive, clean room with high ceilings, a huge (comfortable) bed, and a large balcony. I originally booked the room for one night, but ended up extending for 2 more! Is this a 5 star resort? No. Is it an insanely good value for the money? Absolutely. Treat yourself to the Deluxe Room if it is available (and if you have a few extra dollars to spend). The location is really perfect - just a couple of minutes to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary, two convenience stores within about 100 meters, and countless restaurants/massage parlors/shops on the street. Thank you to Agus and the rest of the friendly staff for a lovely stay! I will definitely be back again on my next trip to Ubud! Bonus: You are so close to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary that you will definitely be able to watch several monkeys crawling around the neighborhood from your window!
