Kubu Darma Villa Ubud

My partner and I lived in The Kubu Darma Private Villas owned by husband and wife team Komang and Komang for a year and half during the pandemic February 2020- June2021. And it was a fantastic experience! I can’t say enough how much we loved & appreciated their hospitality and how well managed their villas are. Our villa was always well cared for and kept spotlessly clean, and was extremely well maintained. They have 5 beautifully built villas. Three 2 bedroom/2 bath/kitchen and two 1 bedrooms/1 bath/kitchen. All have their own private pool. We stayed in the 2 bed/2 bath villa. We feel extremely lucky to have rented from them. We couldn’t have asked for better landlords. They’re honest, conscientious, hardworking and they obviously care very much about their property. We highly, highly, highly recommend their villas either for long term or short term stays. They have great reviews on their homestay, which is up the road from their villas. While we never stayed at Kubu Darma Homestay, we’ve met one of their friends from the U.S. that absolutely loves staying with them every time he comes Bali. There are also lots of restaurants and cafes near the villa and near their homestay that are easy to walk to. The villas are located in the interior of the village with beautiful rice field and jungle views in Penestanan Kelod. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to get to a couple of restaurants and a cafe located near the villas. A 15-20 minute walk to get to most of the restaurants like Alchemy, Tygr, Bella, Element, Warung Sami, Bali Hampton, Warung Mendez, Wayan’s Juices, Zest and many more that are clustered on the main road that borders the village. Unfortunately there were a lot more restaurants located in the interior of the village, but they have shut down temporarily due to the pandemic. We’ll definitely be back to stay at Kubu Darma Villas in a few months, and we hope you’ll make their lovely villas or their homestay your home when you come to Bali!
