Villa Hambhara

This is my fifth stop in a month of travel in Bali since the current virus of feb 2020 has messed up our cruise ship travels as well as many other peoples Luckily, I am I. A position that I did not have to run home just because of cruise ship issues, I mean, I was already this far from home, what’s the point of flying back. That would be a one and a half day holiday, a day lost, and then regained with the re crossing of the international date line.Sort of like superman flying around the world the other way fast in order to gain the past.. anyway, it took more time to load our tiny taxi with 5suitcases plus bags than it did to travel from the last gorgeous villa to this place in 90° heat across from a croquet field. I am still at the stage where the car stops, I look out, see a wall on one side, construction stuff in front of me , and an open sort of sewer canal system on the other side with motorbikes whizzing by, and I’m thinking, so where is this one which is supposed to be the cats meow. Well. Open that green door and SURPRISE, Look what my son found A path through the trees in the garden with the sound of the waterfalll into the garden pool, and open concept huge lounge living room with huge kitchen,. In front of me is a raised building with a gorgeous bedroom bathroom on either side, and a beautiful living room longer area between them. My room, not quite identical is up the stairs next to the other open lounge area with butlers kitchen. A massive open rock water cistern plus shower, and window shutters looking out on 4 sides tofields and buildings beyond. We are 5 minutes from 5e beach, with many stores in the immediate area The place reminds of the colonial villas from the old Tarzan movies You will not be unhappy here
