We stayed here for two nights during our stay in Munduk. The owner of the hotel was very accommodating to us. He woke up at 5 am to drive us to Lovina beach to see the dolphins at sunrise. He drove us around to wherever we needed to go and made sure we made the most of our stay in Munduk. The hotel itself has a very peaceful atmosphere and the rooms are clean and of good size. Would definitely recommend/

Treated us like family

Surrounded my lush ricefield. Pool and garden were great for the kids to play in. 
Food fantastic for local village accommodations.
Rooms felt like we were in a princess castle. Tv channels are bad. There is a kitchen with stove ect but no plates, pots, utensils ect. Would be a great place for group/family bookings

Would visit again. 

I stayed here with 2 other friends in September 2018. We decided to visit somewhere a little less mainstream and touristy to get a different feel for Bali.

We arrived in the evening and my heart sank. We were shown to our room which you needed to be some kind or lock picking genius to actual enter the property. The room was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. The room itself was not terrible with a good clean and a lick of paint it could have been really lovely. The bathroom was fine ( not entirely up to my standards but it wasn't terrible - toilet did not flush very well which wasn't ideal)

The area itself is very peaceful with not much around a little difficult if you do not have your own transport or a driver. When we arrived we wanted to go somewhere local to eat. We couldn't get any wifi signal to try and book a taxi so the receptionist offered to drive us and pick us up. He was really lovely and we were so grateful. 

After we arrived back to the hotel and were settling in the electricity went off. We were sat in the dark for well over an hour. This was not the hotels fault though and some issue in Munduk itself. Our room had some creature located outside that made some very loud strange noises throughout the night but we didn't dare go and take a look to see what it was.

The place is very tranquil and I think if you are looking for peace then this would be somewhere to visit. The staff were all very lovely and couldn't fault them. I wouldn't visit this place again.

Not what I expected

After we found our pre-booked accommodation (Kori Homestay) gate locked at about 6.30PM while driving from Lovina to Munduk for night halt, we were lost as we were tired after a long day. Our driver, Mr. Adhy (+6281239378353), enquired with local people and brought us to Amartya Puri Green Cottages. Adhy has been our excellent driver for the Bali trip and an extremely good guy who knows the routes very well as we travelled through interior villages during our 12 days holiday in Bali. It was dark already and we were desperate for accommodation in an unknown place. We sincerely thank Adhy for his help throughout our trip to Bali. We met the owner, Mr. Wirata, and he quoted 1.2million IDR for one night for a Bunglow with two rooms. We readily agreed for the same. The facility has 5 cottages and each one starts with the letter "A" and named after flowers. The cottages were very good quality and is located in one of the best surroundings with greenery everywhere. The rice fields are connecting the property. The lawn of the property with lily pool adds lot of scenic beauty to the property. The beds are very good and rooms are very large with facilities for coffee. Kitchen is functional. The bath room has a big tub and it is well organized. We did not use the eco swimming pool. The owner and his son are extremely nice people and we had a long and lively chat with them. The restaurant is also very good. We were informed that guests can order fish for lunch and dinner and the fish will be caught by the restaurant people from the adjoining fish pond where you can see fishes swimming. It was a very good place to spend time. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was complimentary - you can choose from the list.

One of the best properties at Munduk area

We had a beautiful view from our cottage. The room and (especially) the bathroom is great......clean and comfortable. The people running the hotel were happy to drive us (free of charge) into Munduk (to trek to the waterfalls and - on another occasion - have lunch). The natural pool and gardens couldn't be better. The only thing that lets this place down is the food. We found it a bit bland and, if you are unfortunate enough to arrive in the restaurant in the evening behind a couple of families, you have to wait a long time for it to be prepared. We found a lovely restaurant over the road (a 3 minute walk away) called Winaposa. The chef there really knows his stuff....the food was excellent.

Very lovely

My partner and 3 children stayed for 2 nights in April and loved the peace and tranquility this place offered. We had the whole place to ourselves so were exceptionally lucky. The grounds and gardens are lovely, with amazing views of the surrounding rice fields. We really enjoyed swimming in the natural eco pool. The staff were very friendly and the hotel’s driver took us into Munduk and gave us a map so we could trek to the waterfalls, which was a fun experience. Would definitely like to go back one day! 

Beautiful place

This cottage is wonderful with room with garden and rice field view. 
Room is clean with loggia to have breakfast. A small layer of paint could be good to reach the 5.

Peaceful, quite, nice view 

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights. We loved the hotel with its beautiful views and wonderful surroundings. The owner even showed us around his home town and local temple. Thank you so much. The breakfast was excellent. If you come to Bali you must stay at this hotel and explore the area by motorbike (some excellent restaurants close by). The hotel can organize this for you. They also dropped us and picked us up from the fabulous waterfall trek with a very useful map.

Wonderful place and lovely owner

Our stay at Amartya Puri Green was the loveliest stay of our one month stay in Bali. The location setting in itself is so beautiful. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the place, the natural pool, the grounds, the beautiful lotus pond, the amazing view with mountains and rice paddies. The bungalow was very nice, big fridge and with a huge bathroom! Bed was very comfortable. The terrasse bungalow was also big and we enjoyed having our drinks,enjoying the view and the peacefulness. We were lucky to have almost the place to ourselves most of the time. But there is a lot to do in the area.
We were on our honeymoon and one day we had a beautiful bouquet of roses on our bed offered by the owner Made. He was very nice and friendly, he drove us to Ubud himself as his regular driver was busy that day.
I have to give a special mention of all the staff, really genuine people and a very special thank to Nyoman who was such a cool friend to us during our 4 days stay. Nyoman we will never forget you.You made us discover the true nature of Bali and its people.

Beautiful place and people

Four of us stayed for two nights, the location is beautiful. The rooms were spacious and picturesque. The food at the restaurant was tasty, but most of all the service was excellent. We had free rides to local attractions and nothing was too much trouble - getting mopeds, taxis, etc. Thank you!
