8 reviewsIf your looking for villas set in a Balinese village away from the hustle and bustle then The Hideaway is perfect. Beautiful, secluded and quiet. Nicole and Wayan were perfect hosts who were exceptionally helpful, they made us feel like true friends. The Lumbungs were beautifully appointed with comfy beds and pillows, TV and DVD player and a shower large energy enough for two. Fridge is large enough for your own drinks and water and they also have drinks available for purchase in a cosy undercover outdoor lounge. Even though there are only 3 lumbungs on the property we rarely saw the other guests. The pool was perfect with beanbag lounges under a peaceful Balinese Gazebo. The gardens were beautifully kept with rustic features. Echo Beach is an easy 15 minute walk away. Their sister lumbungs, Red Salt, is only a short, easy 8minute walk away which has an amazing restaurant with beautiful food and great service and a relaxing view of the rice fields, they have also just put in a pizza oven. You can also order in from their restaurant and it will be delivered to The Hideaway which is perfect if you just want to hang out at the pool for the day. If you are wanting to go into Changgu for shopping you will need to catch a taxi or hire your own scooter. You will also need to bring your own toiletries and hairdryer (soap and towels are provided). We would happily stay here again. Thank you for a peaceful and quiet stay.
