Bintan Pearl Beach Resort

Bintan Pearl Beach Resort is located about an hour drive from all the ferry terminals, during the hour journey you will see village life which is very cool and already it sets the mood for a nice and relaxing time. Hospitality was nice and warm upon arrival, and the layout of the room is amazing - basically if you leave all curtains undrawn you will have a seaview while you shower :D Also, you are so close to the sea that you can literally hear the sea waves as you are lying on the very comfortable bed. I slept for 12 straight hours on the first night, a very much needed rest. They have a sister resort which is Bintan Agro, a much bigger resort with more facilities. I did a 3 hour spa session there, it was really blissful and I received the pampering which was much needed. It is called Harmony Pure Honey Milk Bath treatment, which includes a jacuzzi, body scrub, aroma massage, body mask and finally a milk bath. My entire body felt so moisturized after that! I kept dozing off in the middle of the treatment but i fought really hard to stay awake hehehe Food at their Sun Moon Kelong were fresh and delicious, prices are reasonable for Bintan's standard, and they offer frequent shuttles between both resorts to facilitate your movements. I would definitely recommend Bintan Pearl for an enjoyable and affordable weekend getaway
