The room smell is so stuffy, we were expecting was as good as in the picture, but many dissapointment, the A/C wasn't working well also although I set it to 17 degree celcius was still so hot. The gate had closed at 11 pm and nobody stay awake to handle complain or anything.
And even more dissapointment after wifi was not working at night until i woke up at morning.

Not comfortable

My fiancee and I have been travelling now for nearly 3 months and have stayed in a variety of places at different price points. We booked to stay at Homestay D'Kasim towards the end of January 2017.

When booking, we felt reassured by the 'five star' reviews on Tripadvisor. On arrival we were very disappointed with the condition of our room. There was a noticeably damp smell, the room was not very clean and the bathroom was dirty with urine stains on the toilet seat. The walls had plaster missing in a number of places and there was staining from the damp. The bed linen was clean and stain free, but there was hair and other things laying on it. The bedhead was also wrapped in cellophane which seemed odd. 

We went for a walk around the area and got some lunch, but on returning to our room we decided that this wasn't the place for us, paid for the night and left.

In fairness, Homestay D'Kasim is very cheap and if you are a budget traveller looking for a basic place to stay then this place will probably suit you.

Disappointing!

Well I honestly wasn't expecting much from this home stay as the price was really low .
I was really surprised by the warmth and professionalism of the staff, room was very spacious and clean, very good ac. 
Very good experience even though I struggled a little bit to find it . 

Surprising !

We had low expectations because it was so cheap, but this place was lovely! Clean rooms with all the facilities you could possibly need. There's nothing immediately nearby but if you have a bike or a way to get around you can reach stuff.

We only stayed one night as it was our mission to find Nyang Nyang beach, but it was a really really nice place.

Surprisingly lovely

I stayed here twice this summer. frankly, I did not expect the place to be so nice, considering the reasonable price. But, when i saw it, i was very pleased. 

The room is clean, you get your own little cottage style room that has a bedroom, closet, nice cool ac, bathroom, living room and sink, counter and coffee table. The owner and his family are very nice people and you will certainly feel comfortable here. 

The location is great and in the evening it is nice and quiet.

in the evening you can hear the traditional balinese bells playing, and the cute little puppy tom tom is so cute. I am grateful i found this place to stay and i recommend it.
