Hotel Sentral

Big hotel. As the name suggests it is centrally located in Palu. Shopping Mall and beer-shop 5-10 minutes away on foot. To get to the beach (within the city) you have to take bemo or ojek (there are plenty around) or walk almost half an hour. Some grocery shops and a lot of restaurants on the street just outside the hotel. Also several bakeries close by. Even though the central location the hotel is quiet. The rooms are away from street noise. Beds are comfortable. There are comfy chairs in the room. No Smoking in the room. TV with english channels (mostly sports). Wifi was not stable and often no access at all. Fridge in the room. Small minibar. Bathroom clean (with bathtub and hot water). Western toilet, towel and toilet paper are provided. Paid 350 000 per night. 10% discount if you stay five or more nights. Breakfast was varied but a lot of ants around which makes it look unclean. Staff at the reception speak some english. Do not use their own car with driver. They charge too much for that (like 150 000 to go to the port in Pantoloan).
