I booked 4 nights, but left after staying only one night. The bathroom floor  tile was so slippery, I was afraid to walk in there and take a shower or use the toilet. When I first walked into the room, I knew I couldn’t stay as there was no desk so there was no place for me to work from.  The bed was very comfortable. But when I woke up in the morning, there were ants all over the floor and all of my belongings. It was very uncomfortable. I decided to checkout my first morning there as I was quite disappointed with the place.

WARNING everybody do not book there, even if it's cheap
Worst part was our experience with how we were treated by the homestay owner
We had booked online for quite some time, relied on the overall good rating and wanted a refund after a few nights.

what you get for the budget price if you're not picky:
- room as dark as the bat cave
- location bad, but okay with scooter (rent them in town)
- rooms cleaned only after request
- bathroom very smelly, poor drainage, flooded for hours after showering
- bring your own toilet paper or annoy the family every day asking for it

what we were not expecting:
- scooters of the homestay in horrible condition, our friends (living in Bali, so they know how to drive) had an accident because of an unreliable scooter and had to be treated by doctors. Owner reacted disrespectful when we told him, just worried about the scooter and didn't care about our friends getting stitched up
- rude family (besides of one member who left town after first day) does not speak English and is ignorant and impolite when we tried to negotiate friendly (!) to get our money back, the owner got angry and upset and told us to talk to agoda, not him, (we booked through agoda, but after agoda tried to negotiate, the family still refused. We tried with an indonesian friend translating as well, they just hung up on her on the phone while she was speaking and didn't pick up anymore)

We ended up packing our bags straight away and left, because we felt so uncomfortable. We came back the next day to speak to them again, they just ignored us. We didn't get a refund for 6 nights. Ended up staying in town for only 10k more a night, so worth it guys, our advice is to drive around in town and ask in person to see the rooms and negotiate the price, because you can get something better for 90k a night private room.

NOT RECOMMENDABLE AT ALL, WORST EXPERIENCE

Basic room for an unbeatable price! The room smelled a little and was at the end of the homestay, next to painting stuff, which smelled also. And in the morning the kids make noise too early. The fan worked fine, shower too. Easy to rent a scooter, but they gave us a scooter whitout papers or assurance. The lights didn't work as well, so dangerous during the night. The family was very friendly. Just a little overrated, in my opinion. 

Basic room for an unbeatable price!

Very good address in kuta, a little far from the center, so calmer. Clean rooms with fans. The boss is adorable. Rooster repair, very nice atmosphere, very cheap. Thank you to them.

It's a great home stay.

We stayed here for two nights and booked a boat trip to the Gili with tjem.
We were three and got a room with two queen size beds, they were very comfortable and spacious. The fan worked wonders to tolerate the heat and we all slept through the night.

Breakfast in the morning were the best banana pancakes we had during our trip. Diyah was very eager to make sure we had what we needed.

For the trip we booked, Diyah brother in law drove us to the local boat that then took us snorkeling and around 3 less known Gilis ( we even got to hang out at our "own" desert island :))

It was well worth the price and we had an awesome trip. At out request he even dropped us off at the ferry terminal.

I would recommend to stay there if you are looking for affordable stay very close to the beach

Nice homestay, very nice owner

Very friendly family,avenant,clean room,don't wait,the and coffee at will just the best quality/price ratio on kuta see even on any lombok.Laudry is less than 1euro per kilo, plus you can rent a scooter for 50,000 rps a day and if you want to go two or three days on a scooter you can leave your big backpack at home stay no worries to do it.

The Homestay was ok,  even though the room smelled bad. But make sure not to book any further transport from there. She ripped us off. We booked a bus and  boat to Gili Meno and when we arrived there they told us the boat was full. In order not to stay at the harbour the whole day, we had to pay extra 125.000 for another boat. Very disappointing!

Stayed at Diyah Homestay for a few days, very friendly helpful family, good price, simple breakfast, rooms with little private terrace where you can enjoy your coffee and tea, bathroom could be cleaner and the room could get more aeration.
The homestay is a bit out of the center, but it's actually a really nice getaway from the center of Kuta! It's in a small cute sidestreet, mainly local, which is awesome! you will find a few Warung around Diyah where you can eat local food. If you have a scooter, you would even Kuta even more! And it makes it easier to go back to the Homestay. You can rent one directly at the homestay, and at a good price too.

Really beautiful homestay owned by a lovely family. Friendly service. Delicious pancakes for breakfast. Stayed here for one week with my friends. Possibility to rent motorbike here. More safe than in the city...

Friendly, green and best banana pancakes

We stayed in Lombok in many different homestays and Diyah was definitely one of the best ones. Rooms and bathroom were clean you can make tea by yourself at any time and for breakfast you can choose weather you want omelette or pancakes - both very nice. Staff was always very friendly and warm-hearted, WiFi was good. For that price we didn’t get any better accommodation!
