Wonderfully Cheap and very cheerful staff

I should have read the trip advisor reviews before staying here. I opted for the share bathroom AC room. The AC was the loudest rattling machine I've ever come across, I had to turn it off it was so loud. Toilets full of mosquitoes. Dead cockroaches in the room. Bed tiny and uncomfortable. Room overpriced for what it was.

Yeah not so great

Big place with many rooms, we stayed in a double room with aircon but bathroom outside which we found it dirty and gross. I've been travelling for 3 months around South-east Asia and that was one of the worst. Dirty, small room and work in progress everywhere (at every time of the day). Wasn't so cheap like others Indonesian accommodation. Fortunately staff was friendly and helpfully.

Cockroaches and dirty bathrooms!

Cons: 

* The room was kind of dirty;
* Manado is hot, the room is hot as well; no AC in the room, and even no fan;
* They didn't provide any towels, soap, blanket...
* Bathroom outside: when I saw the one on our floor, I rather went to take shower to other floor, there the bathroom was a bit better;
* Mosquitos in the room (not so many, but enough to get bitten);
* Window towards the main street cannot be fully closed, so was a bit noisy (mikrolets with loud music passing by).
* Price - 100000 IDR for such a service is expensive (at least comparing to Makassar, Makale, Poso, etc.; don't have experience with other places in Manado though).

Pros:

* They rent us a motorbike directly at the hotel.
* For another girl, she said they provide her good info about all resorts in bunaken and have arranged her free pickup from Rex hotel to the harbour for Bunaken boat.

bad quality, not so cheap

We actually didn't spend there even a night as we left 15 minutes after we arrived. Staff wasn't helpful at all. When we told them there were cockroaches in the room they just sprayed insecticide all over the room (including pillows) and closed the door. You can imagine the smell!
After that I layed on the bed and one huge cockroach came out of the matress and climbed my leg.
That was the end for us. At least we had our money back (we had to negociate though).
