Bunaken Divers Sea Breeze Resort

I write the summary of my impressions as a snorkeller. Plus - Diana and Terry are the best hosts one can imagine. The place is basic but their attitude and helpfulness was 5*. - Incredibly many snorkeling places nearby. Very beautiful coral gardens and unbelievable reef walls. For me the absolute highlight were the turtles which are everywhere. Also big ones, several different kinds. Plentiful beautiful fish !! (Mostly smaller sizes except trigger (?) and parrot). - Despite being a dive center, snorkellers are not treated "second class" on the excursions (like it often is elsewhere). There were always snorkellers too, sometimes as much as divers and all were happy. - Bungalows are nice and spacey, albeit could benefit from a bit polishing. - Drinks (soft drinks and beer) are reasonably priced and the counting system works well - Such a nice atmosphere during meals ! - Internet with a cellular connection works perfectly fine, therefore preferably use a local SIM card or flexiroam, etc. if you need it i the room (WiFi in the dining area/reception) Minus (sort of, only; nothing serious, my subjective thoughs ...) - On the first day it was so humid and hot that I thought that without air condition it will be really hard. Then the weather fortunately turned back to normal August. Still A/C would be great, even if the expenses mean that the room rates must go up (I might very well be a minority, feeling that way). - Food is very tasty but gets a bit repetitive after a while (You would not feel that way if you stay 4 nights or so).
