I stayed in the standard double room and it was clean and spacious. They provide towels and toilet paper but ask for it if it's not already in the room. Sachets of shampoo can be bought nearby in the small shops opposite gang ratna. Drinking water is also provided at the outdoor common area. There is also hot water for showering and the air conditioner works well. The staff who mind the area was also very friendly and spoke English well. 

The only thing bad was walking home at night because the road, jl plawa, and the alley, gang ratna, leading to it is poorly lit and can be a bit scary for a lone girl. 

Also finding the alley, gang ratna, was a bit hard because of the obscure signage. I suggest they should put the omah plawa signage at the beginning of gang ratna like the other villas and guest houses in that alley.

I would definitely stay here again :)

Good value

find this place online from booking online site. without reading all review i dare myseld to booked it since its really cheap for accomodation in seminyak area.

Turns out the place is a hidden gem. Only 3 rooms (2 standard and 1 superior). stayed in the standard room. Located at the small alley. But car can go thru. There is only 1 carpark first come first serve basis. Second car may park paralel. 

I came early before checked in time, since room is empty i checked in early. Room is quite spacious. Double bed, tv and ac. bathroom is open air, a set of clean towels are provided. No toiletries and soap provided. Make sure u bring ur own soap incld. Hand soap. 
Tv only has local channel no tv cable. Room is pretty clean. There is one open air small common room with kitchen, gas stove and small refrigerator available (refrigerator didnt work when i stayed there).

There is only one staff. He is polite but seems like having lack of motivation. I carried my luggage on my own and he was juat staring at me the whole way. 

Wifi works fine. Was kinda slow at night. Dunno why. overall im happy staying here. Regardless lack of service but room and facilitu worth the 30bucks.

Quite surprising

We book the rooms via booking.com. When we arrive, the room was great! I like the decoration and it was quite clean. Cant say anything about service cause there's only 1 person who"s taking care of the place. I've read about the water problems in this place. Try opening the sink before taking a shower. It really effects the water pressure (Don't know how :p). Anyways the bathroom is cozy during the day but for me, too creepy in the night. Its an outdoor bathroom. Other than that, its worth the price. Coming to the hotel feels like coming home.

I spent a couple of nights here recently after booking a room by phone with the extremely helpful owner/manager who spoke excellent english. The place was a bit hard to find as there is no sign outside or anything else with their name on it but we managed. The room was lovely, very modern and clean, everything new, a good AC and a lovely outdoor bathroom which was great. However, besides check-in and check-out we hardly saw any staff. There was always someone (young guys, not the person I spoke to on the phone) around 'minding' the place but they spent all of their time in the office and, although they were very friendly, hardly spoke any English and always seemd a bit flustered when we sought them out to ask things to which, due to the language barrier, they didn't know the answer. 
This lack of service made it feel more like we had rented an appartment or a turnkey room than that we were staying in a guest house.

If you don't mind the lack of service I can certainly recommend this place, however a bit more interest and help from the staff would have been nice.

Amazing room, shame about the service

Reading the comments on tripadvisor...we did not know what and where to find as for some people it was supposed to be far (they might have been lazy customers).
The surprise was good. First it is really well located in Seminyak. Closed engough from shops, restaurants and disco (what else to do in Seminyak?) but quiet enough as it is on a small street, it was the perfect location. Well decorated, a bathroom open air... a warm welcome from the staff, it was really nice to be there. 
Only one small detail...you should advice the only one staff not to bring his friends to party too late....
