Mimpi Bali Bungalows - Air Sanih

The charm and sincerity of Mimpi Manis in Air Sanih was not lost on me. My travels have been richer from staying here. The large building has spacious common areas and a view that rivals any in Bali. The small and intimate hotel is in the style of a Spanish villa. Set up in the hills from the coastline, only a two minute scooter ride, the sense of privacy certainly works in favor towards the harmony of this dynamic home Stay. My room was stylish and comfortable. By the second morning I noted that my bed and pillows were doing their job exceptionally well! I enjoyed the spring water supplied swimming pool outside my room several times. Breakfast comes with room charge and most often meals are shared. This creates the opportunity to genuinely let your guard down, make new friends, and truly feel at home. In addition to the breathtaking view and fancy yet casual design of the building itself, Mimpi Manis has a special asset that no other accommodation in Bali has claim to. The hosts of the villa, Jules and Andre, are fantastic. They are genuinely caring and welcoming. The overall vibration of my stay was one of fun and relaxation. They take their roles as hosts quite seriously and aim for their guests to have an experience that goes much deeper than just providing a roof overhead. I feel blessed and gifted to have stayed here. I am suspicious that I have been the recipient of some "Universal medicine". The cost of around 400,000rp/night (less for longer stays) might be out of reach for the lower budget traveler. However, the value is above and beyond whatever the fair agreed price is set to. The town of Air Sanih is sleepy and less busy, which I prefer. It has a few worthwhile things to explore. I am a little sad to depart Mimpi Manis as I am leaving behind some new bonds of fellowship.
