W Bali Seminyak Hotel

I had an amazing stay at the W Bali and will definitely be back. I was upgraded to a pool villa which was amazing. If I had expected that nice of an upgrade, I would have added more time on my trip to stay there. The room was very spacious, neat and elegant. There was plenty of room for hanging up clothes and spreading out - it included a seating area as well as a desk. The outdoor pool deck had multiple seating areas to enjoy the outdoor space. I tried several of the dining experiences and enjoyed them. The breakfast buffet was vast: you could order eggs and other specialty items and it had a huge buffet selection of western hot items (like bacon, ham and potatoes), asian hot items (vegetable fried rice, noodles, chicken), sushi, yogurts, vast selection of pastries, salads, fruits. It was a huge selection and I tried different items each day. The pool was a great space. One day it was pretty empty but another day it was more crowded. It really just depended. But I liked that it was a pretty cool vibe and not a party atmosphere. Service at the pool was amazing and a nice food selection. The staff was always available and would help with moving your umbrella or getting a new towel. After my water sat out for a bit, they would come by and ask if I wanted more ice for my water. The hotel seems to serve a wide variety of customers. I saw couples, families, other solo travelers and friend groups. It was a nice vibe and very welcoming. Service overall was great. They responded quickly whenever I had requests and were very friendly, not stuffy. The hotel was close to a number of great external dining places and is a great location to explore the area. I will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I visit Bali.
