Teras Subak is basic accommodation, BUT......it's directly across the road from the Jatiluwih rice terraces. What a magnificent location!! It appears it's a one man show, with the owner doing everything, housekeeping, cooking, general cleaning, and he does a good job. The room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, and wifi reliable and fast, except for one occasion, when the entire area was out. I went to a restaurant to get online, but it was out there also, and the owner then determined the problem affected all of Jatiluwih. Breakfast was basic, but adequate, good pancakes and coffee. Rain poured down around lunchtime, and I was unable to go out for lunch, so the owner prepared a very tasty Chicken Curry, one of the best I had on this trip. I like to deal direct with owners of small family properties so that more of the $$ goes direct to them rather than booking agencies, so anybody wanting Jatiluwih digs can contact the owner on WhatsApp +62 081 237 026 333 Enjoy your stay in Jatiluwih, one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
