Yes, I went there in September 2015 but my god... the omnipresent staff, the pool was in the works and most importantly... the LIT PUNISHES that invaded my bed and attacked my thigh completely. the only solution the boss found to help me is..a mosquito bomb that didn't work at all! luckily everything outside the hotel went super well because the hotel itself is dirty, the housekeeping is never done. i'm going back to the Gilis this summer and it will probably not be the bottom!

A bad experience

Arriving at the hotel the entrance was already very deserted but when we visited a room we had been sidetracked by the horrible and macabre status of what this hotel was proposing... passed your way it's not a vacation but a punishment of staying in this hotel

A CELL OF PRISON!!!

Really had a good stay at Rumah Kayu. Staff were so friendly and tried their best to know everyone by name and make them as comfortable as possible. Rooms were clean and had everything you need. Great experience with the open air bathroom. Location perfect. 

Best place!

Hotel quiet and friendly and welcoming staff away from the luxury but doing the job. brief enough but enough to enjoy the island. seven minutes from the city affordable price. hotel tres cool if booking last minute. I recommend among friends

Not bad.

The property was really nice but it wasn't well maintained maybe because of the less no. of staffs. Our room was in the upstairs, very dark and the bathroom was also dark and the water drainage system was not working in the shower. 

The breakfast was very light, less options and not on time. We had to wait for the staffs for the breakfast. Normal breakfast time was 8am but the staffs were still sleeping till 8;30am to 9am.

Very disappointing service!

Poor Service

Stayed for 4 days in July 2016 in the upstairs room with large terrace. The +: located 5mn from the main street, nice swimming pool, climate in the room, friendly staff, drinks available to customers. The -: proximity to the mosque (regular prayers day and night), no hot water, no cleaning is done during the stay, little dej to improve.

It's a nice place

A small, secluded place. A dark room with no windows, no ventilation, and full of humidity. A bathroom outdoors. Everything is very careless. Be very careful with the guys who work there as they may be scammed with extras that cost a price that quadruples at the time of payment. After this unpleasant surprise, we decided to pay for the room by asking them for a receipt as we did not want to have any other problems and they gave it to us on returns and with almost no data related to the room. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

The site beyond nothing is recommended!!

Really enjoyed our time at Villa Rumah and it was made even better by the great staff.

We were given a coconut straight from their tree for free on our first day which was a lovely gesture. They also make you breakfast on the morning, every day we had an omelette with cheese and onion and tomato, served with toast and coffee,  it was delicious. 

 The staff were superb taking an interest in your stay and seeing if they could assist you. Twice they came to our room to save us from roaches! They resprayed the roim wirh repellant and away they went happy to help with anything. 

Only on one night did the staff seem to bring friends back to the hotel which i didn't mind, but they were drunk and shouting and it was gone 1 in the morning!

The location is put of the way from the main strip but is only a 6 minute ish walk. 

Highly recommended. 

Great place, great staff

Very nice place to stay on Gili T. It's relatively far away from the busy Main Street (but less than 10m walk from it) but it has pretty rooms, a nice pool, friendly staff and it's clean. Good breakfast and offers a great snorkelling trip for a good price ( cheaper than booking it with one of the booking agents).

Hotel really with the minimum. Small room with dirty sheets and old bed that crawls no storage for our clothes. A few shots to charge our phones and light a light bulb that shines very badly. Shower no hot water and to be located outside.
