Disappointing nothing to do with the Seventh Heaven Inn, no charm, far from the city and yet very noisy. The only positive thing is the endless kindness of the staff.

Disappointing

First off. The owner is one of the most friendly guys you will meet. He is really helpful and even speaks a little Swedish. He also owns a store next door that is really cheap; buy your water there.

The home stay is really close to where the action happens and has all the amenities that a budget accommodation should have. We walked around town and this was the most value we could get from our money. The rooms has ok standard and breakfast is adequate. A defenitive 5 out of 5 if you are backpacking and looking for a place to stay without having to stretch your budget.

Big warning: during Ramadan prayer can be pretty intense. Not the 3-5 minut shouts that is normal, think more like prayer shouts that lasts for several hours. This homestay is close to one of the mosques on the island, so be warned. This is not a problem during normal circumstances. 

The Mr. Dian

We booked 4 nights for 2,500 rubles. When we arrived, the landlord told us that we had to pay an extra 750,000 for the air conditioner. I said that it was not fair and all that and he cut the price to 110,000 for 4 nights. We paid an extra. I'll start with the fact that there is no normal accommodation on the island, and if there is, up to the expensive one!!! This is a wonderful accommodation! If you choose, I would come to this apartment again. Breakfast is prepared for you. There is no menu. You just say what you want and they bring you.

That's a good man!

The home stay looked more amazing that on the photo's, it turned out my room was just renovated a few days earlier and they were still renovating some other rooms. It was very clean, Chilli the owner is a great guy who is really helpfull and flexible with dates. 

Good location close to the beach and centre of Trawangan. Downside: it is next to the mosque so in every few hours you get the minaret playing which woke me up at night. Still i would recommend it

One remark: I was there for 4 nights, the room itself was not cleaned, you could get a new towel and ask for a broom to clean it yourself, would be beter to clean it after a few days.

Rooms are basic, but for the price paid it's great value for money!

Best wifi we've had in a month travelling Indonesia.

Great value budget accommodation

During our stay at Gili T., we stayed four nights at Dian Homestay. The accommodation place is located close to the beach (as is everything on this island) and near the Island's night market. The room we stayed at had a fan, a double bed, private bathroom and shower. For budget traveling, this place was ideal as we bargained one night for 250K and its got all we need. The breakfast is perhaps on the weaker side, especially for vegetarians or allergic individuals, but we managed to request for fruits and tea. The location is at a quiet corner and therefore the island's night life won't disturb you. Service is friendly and wifi works fine. I would definitely recommend this place! 👍🏼☀️

Four nights at Dian Homestay

Was pretty good stay in this homestay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Aircon worked well and it's close to the night market (good place to have local style buffet for dinner).

Sometimes there are some misunderstanding between the staff and guests (about their reservation) cause the owner might not available on site at that time and the staff doesn't know if they have a reservation for that day or not.

Close to central and friendly staff

Very responsive and friendly staff. Clean nice room without smell. Good Wi-Fi and very convenient location in the very center. We were going to stay there for 1 night until we found ourselves apartments for 2 weeks, but we found a suitable option earlier and thank the owner for being understanding with us and returning half the cost of the day. Nice and rare small thing for such a tourist place))

Nice place downtown.

I didn't like the place, too promiscuous with the neighbors, I found the owner aggressive and unprofessional. I was limited to bothering me at any time to have my room visited. I stayed two nights, not happier. The last day I had to leave early, I had agreed with the owner to have my little boy at 7:15 and what was he doing at 7:15? he was going through the sweep and when I complained he started to attack me.

Not professional

Dian Homestay is a very simple and Spartan accommodation. The location is somewhat retreating, but it's advantageous, because you don't get all the trouble from the beach promenade and it's still not far from the center/market square. Unfortunately, there's a mosque in the immediate vicinity, and you hear it five times a day. Especially in the morning, it's already loud and you fall out of bed. The plant is very small, has only a few rooms and is housed in a backyard. We had a room with air conditioning.
