Padanta Homestay

We really loved this little spot! Clean & kind, with a lovely little garden! Daily breakfast was tasty too - banana pancakes and the scrambled eggs, coffee, juice! The owner and manager went out of their to make us feel welcome, and cared for! Wifi was spot on! Location wise, the directions they provided us were clear and concise - it's about a 12 minute walk from the port. It's a wee bit off the beaten path, so it's quite, while not being so far as to be out of the loop! Just a quick walk down two streets and you're on the main street with all the vendors and restaurants! We stayed in two different rooms while here, the first night with aircon, but no hot water, and the remaining nights with aircon and hot water. The hot water was a bit fussy, but there is a sweetspot, just have to find it. We did not experience any bug issues. Rooms must have been repainted, both of ours looked clean and fresh. Sheets where crisp white. They offered to come change our beds/clean daily, however we preferred not - just personal preference. Towels get musty smelling because of the climate - but we just asked for clean ones - no problem at all! We would highly recommend Padanta for your stay on Gili T.
