-Black mould on superior rooms
-have to break custom & wear shoes
-no offer of breakfast (wouldn’t eat it if even it looked gourmet)

I do hope they turn this place around as the guy running it was jolly and it has so much potential. I felt sorry for him but they’re advertising accommodation that doesn’t meet up to expectations.

When I asked for refund he told me I had to contact booking site for refund. I can’t let my family stay here, we’re not fussy but you can’t sleep here without worrying that there’s a cockroach on your back.

Don’t book, it’s run down

Such a shame that a place with such potential is so awful. We are not a fussy family and have travelled round Bali and the islands in budget accommodation for the last three weeks without complaint. This place was so squalid we had to leave early.
We booked this place because it looked like a quiet location suitable for our kids. The main selling point for us was the swimming pool. Sadly, upon arrival we saw that the pool was filled with green algae and looked positively dangerous for anyone to bathe in. There were loungers around it that were mouldy and uninviting. When I said to the owner that he shouldn't really advertise having a pool when it couldn't be used, he just shrugged and said we should've seen it last August when it was clean, and told us the sea is a better pool anyway.
Our hut could've been great, but it was covered in a crusted layer of dirt throughout. We had cockroaches and swarms of ants in there and the bedding looked and felt dirty. Most of our night was spent awake as a result.
The bathroom was also filthy and home to cockroaches. The shower was cold, but that wasn't a problem as I had no intention of getting naked in a dirty room filled with cockroaches and ants. The toilet spray pipe was so badly corroded on the fitting that it snapped off, spraying water around the bathroom.
I don't know if breakfast was included in our price. I was out first thing in the morning looking for alternative accommodation as for the first time in my life, I couldn't stay another night to complete my booking. I think that may be a good thing judging by the lack of care shown in other areas. I dread to think what the fridge is like and even though the wood fired pizza looked good, I wouldn't dare try it until such time as the owner turns the place around.
It really is a shame. The location is fantastic. It's a place with such potential if only it were clean and well maintained. Sadly, the owner seems to have just given up. 
When we asked for a refund for the second night, given we couldn't stay because of it being uninhabitable, the owner shrugged and said we would have to go through Agoda. Hopefully they'll remove it from their listings so other travellers don't make the terrible mistake that we did. We really aren't a picky family (we have never had to leave a place early before), and I sincerely hope the owner can somehow turn this place around, or sell it to someone who can unlock the huge potential it has.

Avoid this place. It's disgusting.

I stopped here for lunch whit a friend pf mine and i found an hair in my noodles, i told to the owner but instead to apologise he said that i was me to put my hair into the dish. 
He is really rude...a really bad person.

We dropped in for a drink while doing a lap of the island. Thought it would be rude not, cool rustic platform seating looking out into the ocean. Great spot to watch the sun set and cheap drinks 50-60,000 cocktails.

We didn't go to the hotel and see the reviews, we did well. Instead, go eat their pizzas on their beach sweater: you'll feel like you're alone in the world with an ocean view, crazy! The server was very nice to us. The only downside: it's a dirty habit they all have there, it's to broadcast loud f**** music.

Perfect... for the beach restaurant.

My girlfriend and I stayed here after a dreadful first night at another place on the island. After we found it we sat by the pool as we waited for our room to be ready. A young man came over and said our room wasn't ready yet but another one was, exactly the same room as we had wanted so he took our bags and took us to the room. He was very friendly and helpful. We spent time in the pool and had lunch out on the beach just outside. It was all table service and the staff where very friendly towards us. The next day we rented snorkels from the hotel and went snorkeling with big sea turtles (a bonus that the turtles where on the beach right outside the hotel) it was amazing. My snorkel was giving me difficulties and one of the staff members was snorkeling at the time and swapped my one with his so I could carry on which was very kind of him to do. We ate several lunches and had drinks on serval occasions too on the beach. The food is good and we'll priced as well as you have beautiful views of the sea and area from our tables. The hotel also arranged us bikes to hire (at a reasonable price) all in all its not the easiest place to find but it is lovely. It about a 20 min walk from the eastern strip of the island which is far enough you won't get woken  by people but close enough to go for dinner. The walk there and back is nice too as it takes you all along the beach past all the bars and restaurants. When we left all the staff wished us goodbye and offers a taxi as well, I'd recommend this place for anyone staying. Its a little pricey but it makes up for in friendliness and location. If I have learnt one thing on Gili Trawangan that it's pay a little more for your hotel, don't go cheap as experience has taught me that if you go cheap it's not nice.

We enjoyed snorkeling here cause there are many turtles enjoying the sea grass what is located there. 
After the swim we decided to drink abd wat something. Coral beach offers Woodstone pizza, it is nice and tastefull, price around 70/80k for pizza.

This is a great location for snorkelling with turtles! The view was outstanding - the beer was ice cold - and the food was pretty good. 
The pizza was better than the sandwich so I recommend sticking with the wood-oven pizza.

The hotel is small and has only a few rooms or cabins. The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very hardworking. The room was clean, but the electronics were either broken or not usable due to various power outages. They had a generator, but it was only turned on in the evening. The food was okay, but we already ate much better, more hygienic and cheaper. There was a warm and family atmosphere on the spot. We were there at the time of Ramadan and right next to the hotel is a mosque. The evening and morning prayer was so loud. But for one night it was quite okay. One should remember that a backpack with this hotel was better than a way out. The hotel leads through the cliffs with sand and sand.

Price/performance all right

While it is true that the cabins above the sea have disappeared, it is a very good option if you want to eat well for little money. Given the high prices of Gili Trawangan restaurants, this restaurant reminds you that you are in Indonesia. We went 3 times, three times to eat. On the first day we ordered pizza cuatro and pizza romaine with a big star 170000Rp. Very good, no big or big. On the second day we ordered a sandwich of chicken and cheese, sandwiches and juices, 105000Rp (I do not recommend the sandwiches, small, dry).
