Dirty, unwelcome, cockroaches and various insects that will be part of the room! Dirty linen and mattress over a block of concrete. When we saw the room, it was definitely dirty, we asked to clean it, they said yes right away but when we came back it hadn't changed anything.

To be Avoided

We spent two nights there, except for the manager, who is very kind, and that doesn't take away from the fact that this place is not recommended. Dirty room, stained sheets, water cutting... It's well located on the island because it's close to the center and without the nighttime nuisance.

Poor price ratio

We regularly booked this hotel on booking.com, but when we arrived our room was not available. At first, the owner lied saying that previous hosts hadn't woke up yet and didn't hear her knocking at the door, and only after one hour she told the truth saying that she was overbooked, letting us in the middle of August with no accomodation on a crowded Island. Luckily enough! The place was so dirty and full of beatles, nothing fitting with the pictures they put on booking! In the pictures there was a nice entrance with bricks walls which doesn't exist and there were nice colourful rooms which doesn't exist. Be careful. 

Overbooked... luckily.

We spent 3 days in Lavender Bungalow. Very kind and helpful staff, especially the fantastic owner. Clean, essential but beautiful and spacious room. You can rent bicycles at the same price as you find in the various bike rental.

Perfect for a few days.

funniest, laid back, friendly place to be! warm welcomes and positive vibes the owners here make you feel at home with Miranda Miranda cooking you breakfast even waking up at 2 in the after noon she will sort you out for day. 
with gili t being a big party island this hostel is a quiet chilled place to be to escape those crazy nights. 
with the beach just being a 5 min walk, you can hire bike for free which is the easiest best option to take when exploring the island very convenient !

2 days turned into a week could of easily turned into months !

So don't expect them to do a quick and high-quality job. The area of the hotel is not big, the bungalow is in a single line, the bungalow is opposite the bungalow, there are couches, but it doesn't make any sense to them, they are in the shade. Also there is a separate place, like a hostess, we were ready to have breakfast there. The hostess herself has to come here for breakfast, it's like a pancake (about a cat shower) with a banana and a pineapple on the street or a bathroom with a bathtub on the street, so you can turn off the coffee and the bathroom.

The budget...

The homestay is perfectly located because it is in the middle of the island, and therefore allows you to spend the day on the beautiful beaches, and the evenings on the other side of the island where there is more ambiance. As for the rooms, there are for all tastes, and all prices! We can rent bicycles at the right price! Breakfast is very good! Especially Miranda is a great host, very nice and helpful! Thank you so much :)

Miranda is the best host!

We stayed 6 nights in this place. The host (miranda) is very nice and helpfull. The price are far cheaper that overcrowded and priced resort. Perfect localisation close to bar and all nice snorkelling/beach spot (they can arrange rent stuff for you aswell as bike). Breakfast ok but dont expect too much

Perfect budget accommodation

Very nice hotel, close to the centre but no noise. Very lovely and helpful staff. The weather works well. We didn't have any bugs or other animals in the room (referring to the previous comments) We had a very good stay with a great staff. Very good for the price. Thank you to all the staff!

That's very good.

We arrived at the homestay and the guy proposed us room number 1 which there are TV, AC, and fridge.
The guy didn't explain to us since we booked double room. (We shouldn't turn on tv and fridge in fact)
So we just use it because its include, but at the end, the long haired guy ask us for extra paid because we use TV and fridge which he didn't explain since first day.
We paid extra 100 after the guy chase us which is before he asked 120, but I explained that he didn't give us explanation to not turn on this and that, so I bargain 100.
(Need to be careful, to asking the right room)
