Fantastic
3 reviewsOur stay at Nafifa was initially going to be only one night. But we were so enamored with the space and the service that we ended up extending to 3 nights. Nafifa's four private bungalows and its cafe are located as close to the sea as you can get on Gili Air. While the bungalows have no windows and therefore don't provide a view of the sea right from your room, all you have to do to see the water and the beautiful Lombok islands on the other side is step off your front porch. The rooms are very simple, but very clean: you get a bed, a fan, and a shelf; bathroom/shower are detached. Located on the south side of the island (meaning you can walk here from the ferry/fast boat docks), Nafifa is also relatively quiet at all times and the surrounding area is not cluttered with all of the overpriced restaurants that are inescapable on the east side of the island. Wifi doesn't always work, but you probably won't want to waste all your time on the Internet when you're by clear blue waters sunny skies. If you're unsure about staying here, book for one night. Your private view of the stars at night might just entice you to stay a while longer. Tip: While The bungalows and the surrounding area are unbeatable for the price, the convenience store across the road is a little overpriced and you can find things for cheaper down the road toward the docks.
