We only stayed one night at Rumah Desa Homestay (from 10pm to noon the next day), but the experience was wonderful. The owners are truly kind and welcoming, making sure all of our needs were met. The room had everything we could ask for—working AC, hot shower, soaps and shampoos in case we forgot, and extra bottled water. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast, and the owner even went above and beyond by personally driving us to the entrance of Prambanan Temple and later picking us up. Even though our stay in Yogyakarta was short, this homestay made it memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit. I would happily recommend Rumah Desa Homestay to friends, family, and anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to Prambanan. (We paid in cash and via local bank transfer for our stay.)
