We have been coming to Rumah Bali for our annual treat for many years. It is an amazing paradise with exquisite gardens and facilities in my opinion. You can pay much more and get bigger rooms, higher quality materials and fittings but you won't get the "feel". All staff work seamlessly to make every visit a special one and the repeat guests attest to what is "magic" about the place and experience. We are staying longer and will increase our frequency of visits as time permits. The "threat" that Mt Agung has presented since November 2017 had no impact on our decision to travel with Garuda Indonesia Airlines and we were confident given the distance of Rumah Bali from Mt Agung that there was little threat. The whole of the Nusa Dua/Tanjung Benoa area was much quieter than on previous visits and that is a real shame for the communities who depend so much on tourism for their livelihoods. We will continue to visit and enjoy our contact with the local people and especially our good friends at Rumah Bali and the two Bumbu Balis.
