We got welcomed by lots of birds .. I loved it because I love birds. Then someone helpful appeard. I spent 4 days in jogja but this place didn't allowed me to leave because it's so beautiful. Your garden area is the best for morning coffee. Kitchen is open 24 hours if u wanna cook something. Free coffee loved it.

Nice homestay.

I usually dont do reviews, but I want to save fellow travellers from disappointment. Booked via booking.com, nice reviews, didnt realize they were from last year, 2016. The place has been taken over by new "management" last month, and they just opened up as it was left since last season. Basic hygene issues, rotten food in fridge in the kitchen, ants in the cupboard, no toilet paper nor hand wash basin, dirty rugs, toilet and bathroom, smelly bed and towels... I am a backpacker and not a picky type but I actually left the place and looked for an other accomodation. Not recommended. Dont trust the pictures, they are outdated, its not what you get.

Not good

We booked this place as it was the cheapest accomodation for our dates and looked nice enough. We took an uber from the bus station which was cheap enough and found the place quite easily. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly.
The place is lovely. It has a little courtyard with hammocks and tables. There is a realpy good kitchen with a fridge, hob, toaster and filtered water.
The rooms have a fan are are very lovely with plenty of space and warm and cool enough. Wifi is also good too!
The owner has been kind enough to let us extend our stay twice without fuss and advised we akso have the option for scooter hire.
The only negative thing I have to say and it is being really picky is warm water would be nice for the shower but it's definitely not a deal breaker.

What a nice place!

Asep is fantastic! He is so helpful and informative by sharing with me all the interesting to-do in Jogja. Not annoyed at all by tonnes of questions asked by me :) He will also chit chat with you if he is free. Feel free to ask him all sort of questions about Jogja! 

The room is very big and spacious. It's simple but nice and clean. The design of whole B&B is also very characteristic and colourful, we love it. It's also tucked away in a small alley so you can get away from all the crazy noise from traffic, you can even hear all kind of bugs/insects at night, it's so calming. 

There are also all kind of food stores available in the main road within short walking distance. The price is also very reasonable. My fiancee is addicted with a drink called 'soda gembira' (Translation: Soda Happy), if you want a crazy sugar rush, you should try it too. LOL.

Helpful host and quirky cool B&B!

It's a little out of the city centre and therefore sometimes hard to access, but very warm and quiet. The reception is very well organised in English in German or French and the rooms like the kitchen are very well thought out. A little more for the bathroom with the very nice cake shower! The warung around is also very good for a meal on the thumb!

Relaxing

Such a nice guest house. Really. It's very unique guest house. Only 7 rooms with big kitchen and in the middle of it there's a small park to gather with people. The staff's very nice and friendly as well as helpful. The room's big and spacious with traditional design. The bathroom's unique as well, you'll take a bath surrounding with river stone.

Can't move on

Charming place, with a nice space/court to relax after a good day's walk in the heart of the guesthouse. The guest accommodation is top. Adorable and helpful. The rooms are very very clean and spacious. And super wifi. In short, super stay!!

Perfect for all levels!

The place is charming. The rooms are nice, clean, large, well equipped. The kitchen is enjoyable and allows you to chat quietly with Elise and Asep (who advised us on our stay in Yogyakarta).
