Griya Gerilya Backpacker Hotel

had a short trip to Bandung on the weekend, and looking for an affordable place to stay around Dago. stumbled upon this place in Agoda but decided to book it directly. since i stayed with a friend, i booked the deluxe room (with double bed, tv, and bathroom) for around USD 25, which is very affordable. i arrived in Bandung near midnight, and to my surprise, the hostel was quite hidden from the main road. you had to walk for about 400 meters across sheraton hostel, and then you'll find it easily. the room was adequate, the bed and the blanket was ok. the bathroom is a bit on the small side, but no problem for me. the hot water and toilet works fine, and they even provided towels for you (which i didn't expect, so it was a plus point). another plus point is the tv and wifi, i didn't expect them to provide various cable channel and a very good wifi connection, but turns out they did. breakfast was good, they only have 3 choices though: fried rice, canai omelette, and toast. the service is also very good, even though throughout my whole stay i only meet 1 of their staffs who cleaned up the room and also cooked us breakfast. the only downside for me is just the fact that my room is located in the back of the hostel, near their sewage system, so sometimes the room got slightly stinky. However, it's not much of a big deal since the smell would vanish if we close the window. definitely going back to this place when i have the chance.
