I decided to book a room for one night out of my curiosity since my campus is located nearby and I often pass the premises on my way home. After getting some references from the official website, I chose Popple Tree room for my visit. The room is located on the second floor, with windows overlooking the balcony. I was captivated by the interior design--baby blue walls complimenting nautical-themed furniture and wall decorations. Everything was so "Popeye" and adorable. The cupboard on the corner is in the shape of a rowing boat cut into half. The bathroom was okay and well-equipped. The Sun Porch cafe looked stylish in shabby chic style, decorated with animal-themed trinkets, small watering cans, and real potted plants. The staffs were really friendly, especially the lady owner/manager who gave me a small tour upon checking in. Looking forward to visiting this hotel again.
