Highly recommended for a weekend trip. Right on the side of the river Ganges. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Due to covid, swimming pool wasn't accessible. But nonetheless, you'll enjoy your stay. Recommended for couples, families.

The resort is fantastic with good amenities. Definitely great for a weekend trip to Raichak. There are cottages available, having two floors. There's a pool also. There isn't any view of the river though.

Fantastic

Firstly, Falta is a very popular place for Picnic in the winter-chills. So if you are looking for isolating yourself from the common buzz and still enjoy, then a night stay at Hotel Sea Bird is a good option.
The rooms are big enough, food is good, lawn and the party arena is great. They got a pool too! We are grateful to the hotel for arranging a DJ in the evening. We had enjoyed a lot. A stroll in the morning, by the bank of the river is a must-do affair, and if you are lucky you might find fresh date-syrup being collected early morning, which they locally heat to make jaggery. You can chill by the pool side all day.

A good resort, to spend the weekend

Stayed here for two nights. Rooms are big in size, but are old style . Staff is very nice as they kept calling us and checking if we need dinner . We checked in quite late in night and they have kept everything fine for us. Break fast is limited in options. But at that location hotel is just about average

Average Hotel in Falta

Pros: Good Food, Riverside Walk Nearby, Nice Cottages with Garden
Cons: Dirty Interior, Poor Staff & Management, Bad Locality and Crowd

The Hotel Staff provided quick check-in and welcomed well. Being 31st Dec, the room rent was high but the overall room standard was nowhere nearby. The cottages on the other side looked good but were unavailable due to high demand. The hotel was fully sold out due to Year End. The Deluxe Room provided had outdated interior and dirty bed, bathroom and ward drop. 

The hotel staffs were selling INR 700 Buffet Dinner voucher on New Year Eve which included a Dinner along with some music & DJ. With no alternate option for Dinner, many Travelers were forced to use the buffet Dinner. The orchestra music and DJ was substandard and was arranged in a small conference hall to save PPL licence cost. The orchestra & DJ was played by some local hotel staffs and was poor. The Hotel management allowed guests to bring in their own drinks. The program ended with a huge fight between two groups and there was no one from the Hotel Management to control it. They even didn't have any bouncers to move away the fight which turned ugly during the event before the fight. Review comments from some website referred to similar instances in the past.

This was my 3rd Visit to this resort and it was the worst one. I would not recommend this Hotel if you are planning to Visit with Family.

Mediocre Hotel having average experience

During this pandemic thought of taking some fresh air just for the change of mind as it is durga puja.but after taking a non ac room over here at hotel sea bird international my whole experience and mood went upset.so sad to say very pathetic service. Staff over here don't even suggest anything like what room category would be perfect. I was unaware of the surrounding. I thought it will be good if I'm taking a non ac but unfortunately it was the worst. Never been to any other hotel and had such a horrible experience.when it came to take money they took it then on but if we ask for service it's a complete no at our face.food was good.the person concerned who was there at reception guided us to take a non ac room of Rs.999/-.a small message to sea bird international please dont misguide guests.i thought of staying for 2days but I couldn't because of the misguidance which was provided to me.their is no air inside the rooms.felt like everything is packed so suffocating it was. Just after the night went we left the hotel.
