23 reviewsSmall family homestay in central Fort Kochi. Ivan and his family are always welcoming and are always happy to arrange things around Kochi for you to do and see. He's a keen biker and has mototorbikes for hire and organises mototorbike tours of Kerala. He'll book you a backwaters trip or a tuc tuc tour of Kochi. There rooms are basic but very clean with hot water and a homemade Indian or continental breakfast available for a nominal extra cost. There's a communal eating area outside the rooms with a TV should you feel inclined. The one thing that I'd say needs attention is the paintwork in the rooms which is looking very shabby in places at the moment. Time for a facelift! Bathrooms are spacious and clean. These rooms are up two flights of stairs but someone will carry your suitcase if it's big and heavy. Highly recommended for a friendly, helpful and very budget friendly stay in Fort Kochi that's centrally situated within a few minutes walking distance of shops, restaurants, the harbour and fishing nets.
