We haven't had a booking so we just walked in. Very welcoming family and a quirky building within the White Quarter. The room was beautiful, specially furnished and very spacious including a fridge 😍😍😍. Our room had a separate bathroom and toilet, a little terrace attached. All was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. A/C and fans working fine. We felt very comfortable and one of those rooms you don't really want to leave😉🤣🤣. We enjoyed our stay a lot, appreciated the warm hospitality of the family and the central location. Lots of food options in walking distance. We would return any time when back in Pondicherry. Ps. You need a good mosquito repellent. Despite the whole room has mosquito netting there are still quite a few buzzing around. But everywhere you go in Pondicherry - lots and lots of Mosquitos Pss. there are a few stairs to climb to the first floor and no lift. People with walking difficulties might struggle
