The host is very welcoming and cooks delicious omelette for breakfast.

The place is perfectly located 100m from the main high street and yet is quiet in the evenings.

The amenities are ok (no hot water though) and all in all the host will make sure that you are not missing anything.
 

But I just spent 30 min creating one on my phone so I could leave a review about the amazingness that is this hotel! OK OK OK, if you're looking for 5 star accommodations at 'mattress in the basement' prices maybe this isn't the place for you, but we got a great price for the budget conscience traveller, the room was clean, the fan was adequate (like I said, budget travellers), and the owner and his wife were quite possibly the nicest individuals I have ever met in my life. They went WAAAYYYY above and beyond what is normally expected of hotel owners. Finding hidden little places like this with truly spectacular people is the reason why I travel.

And on a side note, we came here without reservation and negotiated price, and if you're travelling India (or anywhere for that matter) and don't want to pay too much, you should do the same. Using booking websites always costs way too much money.... if you're uncomfortable arriving in a place without accommodation, email or call the hotel directly. 

I was here for 3 days and the room i stayed in was cozy and comfortable. working wifi and shower plus walking distance to river and city palace was nice. highly recommend this for budget travelers looking for a place to stay. Thank you Kunwar haveli

Great little place

this was a great cozy place to stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They wanted us to feel good at their place. It's near the city palace, so it's a good location.
Besides, you can sit on the rooftop!
Unfortunately our room was very dirty when we arrived. There were cigarettes on the ground and the bathroom door was broken. The bathroom wasn't clean either and there wasn't much space. The toilet flush didn't really work.

Friendly staff, but dirty room

This place is somewhat ok for back packers not for families or couples. Not recommended at all to anyone, owners are rude not friendly except for Mr. Jhala. Breakfast is terrible so is the tea. Highlights - dirty bedsheets, dirty toilet, somewhat clean room.
