This was only our second stop on our trip to India and it will be a very tough act to follow. Amy's is a beautiful house, spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard. Our room was comfortable and spacious. However what really makes this a truly exceptional place to stay is the hosts - Jolly and Sukesh. We were made so welcome by them and they could not do enough to help us. Breakfast is included in the price and is fit for a king! Every morning we were defeated by the amount of wonderful food presented to us. We opted to have our evening meal at the homestay and again the food was amazing in terms of quality and quantity. Jolly is a fantastic cook. The cost for dinner was 250 rupees for vegetarian option or 300 rupees for meat, fantastic value. Sukesh organised an auto every day to take us wherever we wanted to go. One day we had a driver to take us on a tour to the southernmost tip of India, well worth doing. An amazing place with wonderful, kind hosts - we were sorry to leave. If you are going to Trivandrum Amy's is a must.
