Vels Court Residency has by far the cleanest rooms of all the places I visited... The hospitality of the folks is highly commendable... The rooms on the front side offer breathtaking views of the hillock. Balcony is neatly arranged at all floors with sofas/chairs.. Even though this place doesn't have a restaurant, it's offset by its location which is very close to the commercial Street and other major attractions. Highly recommended this stay for all who are looking for a high class budget accommodation.

Service was good.Rooms were good.Hot water was available.Near to bus stop.view is good.Manager was good.Helped us to travel around.Value for money.I ll visit again. If u are looking for budget hotel , then this is recommended...

Excellent Place for a comfortable stay!

Good one

Stayed Vel's court on myvtrip to Palani. Though it differently constructed from other hotels in the proximity, well built, good property, but failed to meet up the requirements. 
It was sleepless nights for us especially to my small 1.5yera daughter due to large amount of mosquitoes in the room. Unable to restricted as the window was unable to shut. It is attached with restaurant but itvwas total disaster. 
Restaurant staff behaved arrogant and shown attitude. Behaved in such away that we need them and not they need us. 
Finally we had to leave hotel without eating as not found much of the dishes there too. 

Felt bit sad that such good property could have been maintained well. Hot water could have make available as per requirements. Hygiene level required to improve and finally staff are need to behave pleasantly. 

Not suggesting to anyone. 

Could have been better

Firstly, did not understand how come some ppl wrote the positive things about this hotel?? is it some paid way for positive feedback? let me clearify it with the real picture..then ppl will decide about it whether it is good or opposite.

Only one people as hotel stuff in reception for the whole day.. Anand (his name). Most of all time, he was drinking. from noon to evening.in few rooms, no remote in TV, one room that we booked, TV plug was not there. When i asked him for that, he told, wait for few minutes, then sent someone to market to bring it, its not a big problem, but when i asked him again after 40-45mnts, then he was totally out as that time, he was not able to stand by himself due to too much drink, and told me, wait. then i told him, that i am not happy with the hotel and will provide feedback to cleartrip the same (as i booked through cleartrip), he got roudy started shouting and told me, "you can't do anything. i am here local". now you decide..how well mannered he is.
no hot water available. if you want, you have to ask Anand and then only he will start the gyser. in Room 203, no hot water facility as water tap is broken.
No one is there to pick the dustbin, if you eat inside hotel.
in room, 206,205, some young guys came for trip and drank upto night 1pm in corridor and were shouting. No one was there to stop them. I mean, no control, no discipline in hotel. So you decide, whether it is good for your family /for your child.

Above are the real scenario that we have faced in this hotel. 
Only one good thing, parking place is good, and location is average. 

People will decide themselves with my above real scnerio.

One of the worst place to stay with only one drunken hotel stuff,

Doesn't worth the price you pay,small room,no cupboard,no cleaning staff and water itself was not there.Only good thing is it is very near to all main attractions but there are lots of better hotels on the main road itself.
