I stayed at the Lucky Kashmir (HB 314) in fall of 1978. It looks a lot different now. But, I recall it as an amazing experience. It was cold and overcast, but we had a nice warm stove and great food! If I remember correctly, I think there was a short wave radio in the sitting room. It was great to tune into BBC. There was no internet back then and you were lucky if you could find a Time magazine that was less than a month old. I would love to return to check it out the New Luck Kashmir. If only this darn Covid thing would end!
