I had my best 7 days here. Pankaj, the owner, is an excellent host. One of the most humble persons I've ever met, he'll make sure that you have a great time while you're here. He's also an excellent guide, so if you're looking for things to do in South Goa, he's got all the recommendations. The cottages are really comfortable, everything including the bed, washroom etc. are a real value of money. And for me the best part of living here was the closeness to the beach and the fact that the
cottages are just next to the backwaters, so the view and the location are worth a million bucks. Strongly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Saturn, ended up extending my stay with two extra nights and would definitely stay there again. Nice spacious, clean, basic huts with very comfortable big beds, 24 hour hot-water and also with you own patio and hammock. Management is great and will help you with anything you need, they do water refills for 10 rupees/l (to keep down the plastic consumption) and they'll bring you a mosquito coil every evening when the little buggers come out. 1 min from the beach on the side of the road away from the beach which means you'll get a good and quiet nights sleep.

A little Haven in Agonda!!

We stayed at Saturn Cottages for 4 nights and loved it! The cottages are only about 100m from the beach and provide a lovely, shaded, calm environment by a quiet river to retreat to in the heat of the day. The hammocks were an added bonus :) the cottages are simple but have everything you need - a very comfy bed with a good quality mossie net and a hot shower (however we always had cold showers to cool down!). There is ample space outside for drying washing also. There are mosquitoes around because it is by a river and also the time of year we visited, but there is a mosquito coil put outside each  cottage everynight and local shops sell different sprays and creams to detour them. This place is a gem, would stay again for sure! 

Perfect place to stay when in Agonda!

Great accommodations with location very close to the beach, only 1 min walk. Very close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Cottages clean, good shower with hot water. Mosquito candles every night. The host was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend 

Great stay

The host, Mr. Pankaj (Papu is his nickname) and his staff were amazingly open and helpful to us. The staff was at the reception at any time of day or night, either to get smth out of frigde or to pour water to us (1l of filtered water for only 10 rupees). Papu wasn't just a good host and a friend, he was like a protective father to my wife&me who looked over us.
First, before our arrival he arranged a taxi from the airport for an excellent price of 1800rp (for around 65km and 1h30min distance) and did the same the day before our check-out, at 5AM. Second, wherever we wanted to go he would give the best advice and very detailed information how to get there. Lastly, but very important, he'd answer to any question, especially about where and how to buy/arrange smth, most important he would tell us about what is the normal price for anything we needed (you probably know that you need to bargain almost for anything in India, so Papu telling the reasonable price was very important).
The location is phenomenal, literally from 1 to 2 minutes walk to Agonda beach, in the center of Agonda village, close to the best restaurants and shops (also taxi and riksha "station" if you need it). So when the Sun hits, you can calmly go back to your cottage next to the river at the end of jungle and enjoy lying in a hammock or in your own bed. And the bed - OMG. My biggest surpise was how big and comfortable the queen bed was, perfect for any couple. Alongside that, hot water 24/7 and perfectly clean toilet. The cottage was cleaned inside on every 3rd day. Also, each day before the sunset, a mosquito coil was put on the veranda in front of the cottage and it would light until about 10PM, so every evening you can enjoy the silence and sounds of nature while you cool down from the hot day.

Amazing beach-to-jungle experience.

So we booked first for two nights and ended up staying a whole one month. The room was very nice and was located in a quiet place one minute walking from the beach. The bed was comfortable and also we had hot shower(!). The price was very cheap in comparison to many other accommodations. The host (Papu) is very nice and is willing to help with any problem.
We were very thankful to visit this place and we highly recommend it to those who look for a cheap, quiet and comfortable place :)

Great accommodation

It’s located right next to a small river and surrounded by palm trees, so it has this fresh and relaxing atmosphere. Also just 2 minutes walk to the beach. 

The cottage we stayed in for 4 nights was very spacious with a big double bed and an auxiliary single bed, bathroom with hot shower, mirror table, and a table. Bed sheets were clean and smelled good. Mosquito net worked perfectly. Outside of every cottage there’s a little porch with table and chairs, so you could relax there. It was really sweet that the staff put some mosquito repellent incense stick every evening. Also there are enough ropes around to hang the laundry between the palm trees. 

Most important, Prakaj (Pappu) is an amazing host. He is very professional, kind, and nice. He  takes care of his guests and tries to make their stay the best possible experience. He helped us a lot for several ways like..booking a bus to another city, getting a good deal to rent a scooter, letting us have a late check out while the cottage was available on our last day there. All the places he recommended us to visit were totally worth to check (do not miss Butterfly beach and Cabo de Rama Fort).

Lovely cottages

I came across Saturn whilst walking the street trying to find accommodation and the gentleman that owns the property showed me round and I was sold immediately. Only a 2 minute walk from the golden sands and set back nice and peaceful against the river. 
We were originally only going to stay 5 nights but extended to 9 as we loved it so much. The guys that run the cottages are on hand 24/7 and always help with a smile. 
The cottages themselves are excellent, really comfortable bed, mosquito nets, mosquito coils put out every night, hot showers and very good wifi! 
Very good value and friendly staff, so I would absolutely recommend these cottages!! 

Loved it!!

Great place in a jungle clearing 100m from the beautiful beach at Agonda. Spotlessly clean, really friendly helpful staff and great value for money. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you are in Agonda on a budget this is the place to stay. Really sad to be leaving. Excellent!!!

The cottages are hardly 100 mts away from beach.with all basic amenities these are the best accomodation too stay on beach.the tariifs were also very good.would not expect more .best place to stay on agonda beach
