We Only stayed one night, but the hotel was lovely and clean. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Wifi at this hotel was good enough to use skype. It's a great place to stay..... Staff were friendly caring and pleasant, starting from the reception. 
Meal are very good and delicious.....

Visit Gangtok in feb,20.stay in The Mazong Residency.Manager Mr Raju Mondal such a nice person.He is from Barasat,north 24 pgs.Also their food is just awesome.All staff are very co operative.If i visit Gangtok again then stay there.

Hotel is located at heart of the Gangtok city, nice hotel at low budget, don't expect too much, but rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean, we have a comfortable stay, location is superb, you can enjoy the MG Marg whenever you want.

Good location budget hotel

I booked in this hotel in a very low rate cause I just wanted to spend a night. May be its not the best but it gives a great view spcly from tarrace room and 208. They must improve in keep it clean. I had issue with bathroom they were so aplologostic and eagar to change the room. The manager and staffs were friendly. Not a best property but can be a great place if they can little improve and housekeeping part. Thank You Mazing Residency

Budget Bengali hotel In main Mg Marg

The rooms are cozy, comfortable for night stays. I've stayed here 2 times a decade apart. Foods are served hot and good bengali food. However, there are a lot of bengali foods are written outside in the display, All of them are not served anytime. So, it's like you've to take whatever they have cooked (mainly with fish). 
The managers are bengali and friendly. They also conduct North Sikkim trip with discount. And if you're staying there, they'll give you discount.

This is possibly the worst hotel in Gangtok. Has shabby rooms and dirty bathrooms. Beds had some unusual kind of bugs. It has no wifi, or any other basic services. The staff is rude and not at all helpful, so is the manager/owner. In short, book any other hotel but not this one if you want a decent stay.

Worst experience ever

I stayed for one night on 06/11/2015 with my family. We booked two rooms. I had a bitter experience. I think it is one of the terrible hotels in Gangtok I have ever seen in my life. The room were very dirty and bad smell was coming out from the bed and blankets. The bed and blanket was not clean. There were no hot water in the bathroom though geyser was there. Not only that water supply of the bathroom was not for 24 hrs. One of the bathroom had just a night bulb.
