Aggarwal regency shimla is a very nice hotel at shimla . Specially balcony view  from rooms is very beautifull.  I like their food and service of hotel is exellent . I recomend this hotel for all family visitors.  Really 3 star property .  Such a beautifull hotel 🏨. 


Arrived wed 17 th Jan straight off the toy train and headed to a nearby hotel, straight away the decision that we were not staying was made and we walked up to the Aggarwal and the bright lights and large fish tank invited us to try for a room at very short notice. We were treated straight away by a very friendly elderly gent behind the desk who showed us two rooms, both were adequate and we took the smaller room.
It had a balcony with a superb view of Shimla, bathroom with a shower and all the amenities required for a great couple of nights stay. Bed was comfy and hot water was superb, a long hot shower could easily be had.
Room service was punctual and polite, and our butler was great, think he was ours because of his grasp of English and he did us proud. Meals are non veg, but we managed perfectly well with spring rolls, mushroom chow mien and toast. Eating out and Center of Shimla ridge, is only a short taxi away and no issue at all.
We found the desk, any inquiries we made to be very informative and helpful and the price was 2000 rupees a night, a very reasonable rate.
Thank you for a great stay, we enjoyed shimla and all It had to offer.

We stayed in this hotel for a night. It has a great location whuch is away from hustle bustle of the city and approachable to the main attractions and mall road. The staff is hospitable and helps you out with everything you require. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it has an amazing view of the valley and the mall road. The sun rise can be seen from the room window which is just mesmerizing. They have ample space to park your car which is not easily available in shimla.

Great find, enjoyed our stay, great views from balcony

Great view and parking 

3 star Hotel in shimla 

Average and Budget hotel at out-skirts of City Limits.
Stay was pleasant with nice valley view.
Only disappointed with Hotel Management's decision to shift us to another Hotel for next day stay (though rooms were booked for two days) saying that some VIP is visiting Shimla and their security personnel are staying with them.
Shifting with you luggage and kids is a hassle that they didnt understand Customer's perspective.

Average Hotel at Shimla Out-Skirts

The shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Wi-Fi did not work in rooms and only worked at reception. The bedroom and bedsheets were not clean on arrival. No air conditioning in the bedrooms. Staff were slow when looking to order food and drinks but the food was decent, veg only.

Very basic 2 star hotel

The hotel is strategically not well located and is very far from the city. The staff is extremely un-trained and doesn't understand how to treat clients. The food is ok. The rooms are extremely small with neither balconies.
