Our stay was fabulous! 
The apartment is a very cozy place and suitable for any traveller expecting a homely vibe. 

Its located in the heart of the city and is equipped with all whats necessary !

Excellent location, courteus incharge, All kinds of facility available in this apartment. You may close your eyes and book this place.I would refer this to all my friends and family. Recently made a last minute visit to Shillong, Meghalaya in May '18, May being the peak tourist season I was afraid I wouldn't get a decent place to stay, luckily found this place on AirBnB.

It is located in Police Bazaar, which is the commercial & shopping hub of the city with 100s of shops and eateries just a few steps away. Best place to stay if you want to get a complete feel of the city.

The rooms are neat, clean and just as advertised (no rude shocks). The landlords take adequate personal care to ensure that cleanliness is maintained and that the guests do not suffer any undue inconvenience.

Also, I was able to rent a bike form them for a mere Rs. 900/day at the time.

They do not serve food, but it is flanked by some really good budget, as well as premium eateries, with a large variety of cuisines, thus food was not an issue.

Magic Serviced Apartment was our last minute choice when we found all hotel rooms in Shillong were fully booked for the weekend. After a quick efficient registeration, we left our luggage at the smart parlor room like reception and went out to make the most of our morning. Breakfast was on top of our list since we had just arrived from Guwahati by Shared sumos, the most common mode of inter-city transport in the north-easter regaion of India.

Returning rather late in the evening, we were shown to our room to find our bags had found their way in before us. The room though small, was nicely lit. The double bed with firm mattresses and clean white bedsheets, was an immediate invitation to sweet dreams for our very tired bodies. Ignoring the tea coffee kettle, the bathroom called urgently. It was well-fitted, nicely ventilated and clean with hot water in plenty.

Bathed, it was time to pack off to sleep for yet another day. Extra blankets in the cupboard, toiletries and clean towels were happy additions in the room. Just wish there was an open terrace or maybe just a balcony with tables for simple quick meals. 

Wish the place had been a little less impersonal too, with hardly any staff in sight to interact with. 

Maybe just a tad expensive, even though it was off season, but the location and the cleanliness were positives well worth the stay.

In the heart of the city and well maintained

Firstly,  I am very thankful that even though I booked for the wrong dates, they smoothly managed my stay on the day of my arrival. The rooms were clean, staff were good but few basic amenities were missing, which were provided on request. Response is good.

Basic amenities are must

It is not recommended for women travelers as safety is a major issue. Hygiene is something that can be worked on. There are several defunct artefacts kept there. Lot of wall clocks are kept. All of them give the wrong time.

Only veg food is allowed. Wifi is unreliable.The good part is the location.Its in the heart of the city.
