Excellent place, very clean and tidy rooms, great views from the roof and friendly service. Would definitely stay again. Out of all the places we stayed at in India this would have been the cleanest. Bittu gave us great service and nothing was a problem.

Excellent in all respects

We recently stayed at Hotel Dev Palace and had a fantastic experience. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the hotel provided exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities provided were excellent for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money and the overall pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet quality stay."

Good place to stay with excelent food.

This place was booking by my bro in law had no idea about it and man it was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and warm during the cold. The bathrooms are luxurious. The food menu does not have a lot of variety but the food is tasty. The service is very warm its a great place to stay and unwind far from the madding crowd. Just stay here for a few days to enjoy peace.

Fantastic jungle stay

This was a nice 3 day stay. The hotel was characyterful, built recently but with many refereences to a more traditional Raj design. There is a pool which is unheated but I swam in it anyway, as a serious swimmer  & it was pleasant. The staff were attentive and thoughtful & the manager very friendly, socialising in the evening with guessts if they wished. The owner was also friendly & we met his 2 fabulous great danes. The food was home made & buffet generally, very nice & large portions offered by a very pleasant service team. The chef Hararam Devasi was excellent & explained aspects of the food as we required.

A very nice chearacterful hotel with attentive staff well located for the park

When you are on an adventure holiday like visiting Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, Hotel Dev Palace would serve as a Cost efficient, Clean & Cool place to stay. We stayed for 5 nights without any complaints and found the rooms simple but well maintained. 10mins from SawaiMadhopur stn & 10mins from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve's entry point. Perfect place to have a cost effective vacation.
Food is again basic,simple but tasty. Staff is well behaved and helpful. Nice place.

Sweet & Simple Stay

This relatively new and small property is nicely maintained with beautiful hand painted ceilings. From Clean rooms to clean bathrooms it has all that you need for a comfortable stay. Food is excellent and a simple roti sabzi daal rice meal will completely satisfy your taste buds. Staff is courteous and helpful. Location is also a plus as it is just a 10 mins drive to the Ranthambhore national park.

Simple yet comfortable budget hotel

My stay at the hotel started with cheating and cheating ended. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that my armor was gone! After I refused to move, the room and the reservation were found, I apologized. I paid for the safari at the hotel. The next morning I was put in a jeep with 5 French tourists who convinced me that they paid for 6 people to be without strangers. Since the jeep was not leaving, the poor French agreed to take me away to go somewhere. Then I took the driver's note with the passengers' surnames listed: there were only 5 French surnames, without mine. The host talks kindly only to Indian tourists, so the European can not even turn around to answer the question.

You're disrespected and lied to.

This hotel is average, but if you think about the price then its good hotel. The hotel is in good location, near to railway station and good for morning safari. They have roof top restrautant and food quality is good and price is reasonable. The main problem is you will feel bad smell in bathroom, but its ok for this budget.

Good budget hotel

I can honestly state that this is probably the worst place we've ever stayed in (and we've been to quite a few hotels/apartments across the world). I have attached photos to demonstrate how basic and grubby it is.
When we asked for hot water to wash in we were greeted with looks of amazement  and it was only when we insisted, that they finally consented to light the wood-fired boiler (pictured) which then took around an hour and a half to make the water run hot (not 20 minutes as they claimed). Next morning we were back to cold water again.
The bed linen and towels had definitely seen much better days and the bedroom had the feel of a cell (in contrast to the rather spurious wall decoration of ceramic tiger prints!) How about getting the basics right first?
ONLY stay here if the alternative is to lie in the dusty and dangerous roadside with the hazards of manic motorists and cantankerous camels. The only monarch likely to be found in this Dev Palace is a pauper one who has long since abdicated!! 

Worst we've stayed in

This country is a destination for everyone who wants to venture on a safari in Ranthambore National Park. The staff were very kind, from the owners to the cook, very nice people. They also helped me figure out how to get on the train and super available for everything. The price is great if you want to avoid spending like in Europe. One note not entirely positive, although I am aware that by Indian standards it is normal, the bathroom was not very clean. Thanks to all the staff for availability.
