Jiwan Residency

I stayed here with my family including senior citizens and an infant.We had booked 2 superior rooms with Balcony and Sea view which are the best rooms of this hotel. I had a rented car from Madurai and stayed here for 3 days. This a sea front property but the beaches are not for bathing as they are inaccessible.There is a small park opposite to the hotel with benches where you can sit and watch the wild sea for hours. The superior rooms are huge and bathrooms are neat and tidy.But mini bar or refrigerator is missing but slot for the same is there. Staff of the hotel are very courteous and helpful.But as they get limited visitors they have limited food stock.So always order your food in advance and then go to the restaurant.Shabari restaurant manager is very friendly and will always there to help.The food is tasty specially the phulkas,Aloo jeera and Gobi manchurian.Breakfast spread is mainly south indian but decent and sufficient.Always travel here with own car or rented ones as no shop or atm in walking distance. Ramnathswamy temple,AgneeTheertham and Siva Boating is 2 mins ride from property. very well maintained and new property.I purchased milk from outside and gave it to restaurant which they boiled and gave it for our baby.Will Again Visit Rameshwaram and this property for sure on our next visit.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Madurai Up and Down taxi- Mr Syed- 7305474460..Very helpful cab driver...and knows everything about location...You can plan kodaikanal or kanyakumari from here as well....
