We had a lovely stay at Arum Hill, nothing was too much trouble, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a great weekend. The location was perfect, as we were there to swim Midmar, the house and rooms are equipped for loadshedding.

Happy with customer support and standard of accomodation and catering
Not happy with paucity of indigenous trees and neglect of gardens detracts from ambience of the place 
Dam needs fixing ,presently leaking and points to lack of maintenance .
No access to rugby on DSTV package a serious shortcoming

We enjoyed it so much that we will be going again in June for my husbands birthday. Luke the manager of the property was friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending Arum Hill Lodge.

Our room was stunning and very comfortable, it overlooked the little lake and had fabulous views.
I really enjoyed the company of Crusoe the dog that came to visit every day, he is such a sweetheart.

Exceptionally well appointed room and bathroom in a tranquil setting with lovely views. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and heated towel rails were a nice touch tho the actual bedroom became rather cold at night; apparently there are plans to address this. Very helpful on site staff helped make the two night stay most pleasant.

Excellent service from the staff, very clean and comfortable stay. Close to all amenities. Breakfast was top notch with an very nice social area for friends and family. I Would definitely recommend it to everyone . 

Our stay at Arum Hill lodge was fantastic and just what I was hoping for. Beautifully set out rooms with Magnificent views, the beds were amazing and pillows to die for! Lovely amenities and inviting common area. Our hostess was lovely and so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and catering for my vegetarian daughter was an effort well enjoyed. Thanks for everything, we will be back soon!

We stayed in one of the beautiful king suites which was super spacious and lux - the big bath with heated floors throughout the bathroom is perfect for those cold winter mornings and evenings, the bed is really big and comfy. We loved sitting outside on the comfy couch overlooking the hills. Breakfast was delicious and Cheryl made life really easy. Will definitely be back in the future to enjoy the communal space some more - highly recommend for a couple or even a big group of friends / family.

I visited the Natal Midlands and wanted to be close to Michaelhouse. The location was perfect for both the school visit and the Midlands Meander. It was about ten minutes from Michaelhouse and near to
many of the Meander venues eg Tsonga, Piggly Wiggly, Ligetton and many other places I drove by selling things like cheese, coffee/tea and curiosities.

My wife and I stayed for just one Saturday night in order to attend a wedding being hosted at The Glades. The room was lovely with a high quality mattress and bedding, so we had a wonderful nights sleep. We had a delicious English breakfast the next morning and were on our way. They were very accommodating in letting us arrive earlier than the check-in time to get ready for the wedding

We had a lovely stay at Arum Hills.  The hostess was extremely welcoming and very friendly.  Our room was large with a great view.  Very peaceful surroundings.  I would recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet break in the country.  Only negative was that there was no aircon and it was an usually hot period during our stay.

Excellent

Excellent Service.  We were able to book in early as we were attending a wedding mid afternoon. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeting. The underfloor heating in our room had already been switched on, which was very much appreciated when getting ready for the wedding and when we returned later that night! We also had a delicious breakfast beside a beautiful fireplace.
