Hotel Sai Brundavan

Stayed in Hotel Sai Brundavan Puttaparthy, next to venugopala swamy temple 50 steps from the gopuram gate.. this is our repeated stay. Lift facility and power backup there. Very clean room ,powerful ac.  comfortable bed  basic toilet amenities there. . hygienic bath room 24 hrs hot and normal water. Very rare pict of swamy can see every where in the hotel. Its a hidden gem. We strongly recommend for family and aged persons also. ( Thanks for no Television in any rooms being this a swamys place .. we came for darshan not for entertainment) - subramani coimbatore

Staying in Sai Brundavan was very pleasant. The rooms are neat and spacious and have a good service facility like restaurant on ground floor. The people are courteous and provide basic amenities likie clean towel soap on daily basis Overall a good stay!!!!

hotel is good. near to ashram. walking distance 5 min. there is restaurant but menu is of andhra meal type. but as per the rates for other hotels and this it is worth paying and choosing the hotel to stay.

Very Nice Stay!

GOOD STAY

Sai Brindavan in Puttaparthy is a small budget hotel near Prasanthi Nilayam (Sai Baba’s Ashram) offering basic amenities. Suitable for a night’s stay. Puttaparthi being a pilgrim location, those who visit prasanti nilayam mainly constitute the customers of the hotels in this Sai township. Rooms are spacious. One-man Reception a bit informal, he would do the job of a room boy also if needed, as a result sometimes you see nobody there! Small parking place in front of the hotel, covering maximum three cars. There is a veg restaurant on the ground floor and many restaurants are nearby also. The rent is very economic, one can obtain a double room for Rs.750/- range for the time being, if you book thru travel sites the price would further reduce. 

Prasanti Nilayam is at walking distance, about 200 meters from the hotel. Though Baba has passed away, thousands of devotees are visiting the ashram. Bhajan and other programs are keeping the same active and devotional each moment. A number of attractive crafts and cloth shops are loaded on both sides of the road in front of the hotel. You can wander through the same in the night making it a nice evening. There is a Lepakshi Crafts outlet behind the AP Tourism Hotel at the APT Complex. Try some crafts from there as it is much cheaper than those in the other shops. We bought a beautiful wooden statue of Ganesha for Rs.800/- which was also available in the outside shops for Rs 1500/-. The township starts early. In the early morning if you need a cup of tea it is readily available in the small dabas on the road side just opposite the hotel.

A typical visitor in Puttaparthi would be spending much of the time outside the hotel in the day & evening, visiting Ashram, museum, craft shops, etc and would be using the hotel just for sleep. Hence for such visitors the basic amenities of Sai Brindavan are ample, I would say.

I stayed in this hotel when I visited ashram on Sai Baba's birthday in 2014. Reached hotel at 1 in night. Staff was cooperative. Room was large but very basic amenities. Bed was just Ok. Bathroom was not in good shape but was clean. 

Overall an avg hotel. Okay to stay if you are traveling single and on budget.
