We stayed here and really loved it! We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Ravi and brought to our super cool and comfy room. There were books left by travelers in our room and the decor felt very gypset.  Out the windows were views of temples and surrounding hills. Breakfast was delicious. I actually wished I had more time here to enjoy it all.

Pushkar Soul Serenity

Doesn't look like the online photos. Garden was a mess, furnishings are old, faded and ripped, it's desperately in need of a paint job, bed linen is poor and towels are thin and grey. Disappointing. The owners have clearly not prioritised upkeep. However, the manager Ravi went above and beyond for us during our stay. We are forever grateful for his support when I was sick one night. On that note, beware the "special" lassi drinks. Local cafes (Sunset Cafe I'm talking to you) sell them without explaining they are made with the drug, Bhang. I had a very bad trip from drinking a "special" completely unaware of what it contained. Thought I was having a stroke or seizure. We had to call a doctor. My husband was too stoned (from the "special" to help. Dangerous situation. Thanks to Ravi for all his support that night - calling a doctor and picking up medication for us late in the evening. He's a gem!

Doesn't look like the photos: bit tired and worn

We enjoyed our previous stay at Dia so much that it was the logical choice when returning to Pushkar. Once again we loved our charming room, the views, the great food (most meals are prepared at the main establishment, Seventh Heaven although breakfasts are made on site), the friendly efficient service from Ravi and the other staff. The location is great if you prefer something quieter although the monkeys can get quite noisy - but for me that just adds to the charm. It's an easy walk into town or you just need to ask and a tuk tuk will be ordered for you. Likewise when returning you can order a tuk tuk from Seventh Heaven to take you back to Dia. This is all included in your tariff. There are a number of nearby cafes and it's an easy stroll to the local rose farm or nearby temples.

Charming accommodation in quiet location

Grubby, dirty, dusty surroundings.  Rooms very basic with poor bedding and towels.  Used sanitary pad found in my bin on check in.  Finger prints and marks over furniture.  Very noisy because of monkeys at night - lucky if you get and sleep.  Overpriced for what they offer.  Isolated location.  Owners need to pay attention.

If you want to feel at home in Pushkar with the best views that the town has to offer, Dia Homestay is the place to stay. This beautiful property has large and spacious rooms which make it perfect for solo travelers, couples, families and small groups. Dia is located just behind a hill and is a ten minute walking distance from the village. It has a lovely rooftop with the most beautiful panoramic views of Pushkar town. The caretakers are very friendly and helpful and took us to the nearby holy attractions. They also have two cute dogs and cats staying in the property. This was definitely our favorite property in all of Pushkar and Jaipur and we would love to go back here very soon. A special thanks to the owner, Mr Anoop, who made sure we were well taken care of. 

Undoubtedly the best views in Pushkar 

Lovely bright and beautiful hotel just outside of the main city part of Pushkar. You can easily walk into town or they will provide a tuk tuk ride. Rooms are airy and open and in Rhajastan style. so pretty and comfortable. Breakfast is a choice of pancakes, or museli and fruits, the breakfast area is an open roof top oasis, with beautiful view. The host Ravi, is lovely.  Hot water is a bit limited,but plenty for 2 of us to shower.

We were so looking forward to our stay at Dia but were disappointed as soon as we saw the room. Presented as some kind of designer chic It was in reality tired and poorly maintained. Old snd rather grubby bedding and carpets, a small of monkey urine seeping through the roof, poor bathroom. The only redeeming feature was the manager Ravi who was kind and helpful throughout and the cafe next door which we would recommend. The adjacent hotel Brahma Horizon to which we escaped whenever possible was lovely. Also the owner has two dogs, one lovely and one vicious ( bard teeth and growling). This dog should never be allowed near the guests. We know about dogs and it was frightening. The whole plzce smacks of lack of care znd interest in their cluents. Avoid.

Disappointing

After the hustle of Jaipur, Pushkar is a haven and Dia Bed and Breakfast is the perfect stay. 
We extended or time by an extra day so got to try two rooms, both of which were beautiful. We also ate both at Seventh Heaven, the gorgeous sister hotel, and at Dia. The meal at Dia is brought over from Seventh Heaven and heated up again and served on the rooftop (very cold in January!), and a lovely option if you want to stay put. 
Dia is on the edge of the town but everything is very close and there a number of cafés right next door. We took the free tuk-tuk and walked to the lake too, both were easy options. 
Ravi, who looks after Dia, is a beautiful person and made us feel at home. We couldn't have asked for more. We felt like we were leaving a true friend at the end of the trip.

Perfect quiet hideaway in Pushkar

The pictures of dia website is not the mirror of their homestay. Everything promised to be brilliant until you see it with your own eyes. The bedsheets are old and tarnished.
The towels thin and poorly washed. Dust on the furniture and lamps. And above all our toilet had a leak at the base.
Although the charming architecture of the house and the friendly and helpfull Ravi we could not enjoy all the way.
Location ok but beware of marriages in the neighborhood.

Poorly maintained b&b

If you want a real taste of Rajathan nature only 5 minutes from Pushka's ancient  central, wake up to chants of the myriad bird life that inhabits the countryside of Rajasthan, sample the best views of the mountainous desert terrain and be treated as if in five star accommodation , this wonderful homestay is for you .

The rooms are spacious, palatial , tastefully  decorated and beautifully lit. It is most certainly one of the most comfortable and friendly places I have stayed in, I always come back every year .
