Bay Inn is a clean and lovely place to stay. The staff are super hospitable. They r caring Join their ways. I loved their food and so did my friends. We will definitely b back again here soon.Great job Team Bay Inn.

Bayinn

The hotel is budget hotel type, but the charges are high. The staff is helpful and soft spoken. Food again is average. All rooms are not sea facing so check the room before booking. Few rooms are big and good but they are charged heavily. I guess I stayed in 
Standard Sea Facing AC Rooms that was room number 107. The hotel is near by jetty(not walking distance) but far from the main market. No market at walking distance.

Plan accordingly.

Budget Stay, dont expect much

All rooms are standard rooms with AC. But most are very small with no space to move around. No arrangement for tea in the room. You will have to ask for room service. 
AC don't work, water clogging in bathroom. Laundry is once a day, so even if you ask for fresh linen or towel they can't arrange. Switch boards are behind the TV unit. Bathrooms smell.

I had a very nasty experience.

Try rooms on the top floor, or surrounding the lift area only if you are looking for budget hotel. Don't get fooled by the pictures posted by others for this hotel rooms because you not get those for a cheaper price.

Not recommended

Everything about the hotel da bay is worst.rooms are full of insects ,washroom are unbarable,no cleaness they even do not provide proper room service,Ac was not working at all .Plzz do not make mistake of choosing this hotel.

Plzz do not visit

I made a quick trip to Andaman and stayed at the da bay inn for 4 nights with family at the sea face rooms. The food was very good and the place is reasonably renewed. The place is opposite harbour area and the sea is not clean but the view is great. The employees were very friendly too. I would recommend this place only if you are looking for budget options. No internet which is an issue with Andaman as a whole 

Budget stay good one

The hotel is near the sea shore that gives a beach view from the room but there comes a road between the beach and the hotel so you can't enjoy the view properly, specially if your room is on 1st floor. I paid 3300rs for the booking of a room in this hotel on 12th April, 2018. The room is very small, enough for two people but there is no lag space, moreover the room wasn't much of a treat to eyes as it was not clean. If you are on a honeymoon then don't book the hotel. The AC of the room wsn't working properly and it was around 35-37 degrees outside in April. The staff looks lazy and uninterested. But this hotel is near to the ferry booking office, where you can book your ferry tickets to Neil island & Havelock island. The autowala will take 100rs to take you to Da Bay inn from the airport, and he will take 600rs for one day sight seeing in Port Blair, if you want to travel in a rickshaw. The another hotel i had been to in Port Blair is Hotel De Marina and the rooms are just awesome with regard to the money we pay.

"HOTEL NOT WORTH THE PRICE..!"

The Empang was very friendly to forget everything else. In the bathroom, the man is sitting on the water with his feet in the water. Overall, the hotel certainly doesn't match the 3 stars.

I'm sure I 'll never do it again.

A large well-furnished room, with a large TV screen on the wall, safety box and mini-fridge (vacuum), quiet air conditioning but the tubes pass through the bathroom and the discharge of condensation is directly on the floor which is therefore always wet and you risk slipping.
