The booking was placed through oyo. The hotel manager called me multiple times to confirm the check-in time. When I finally reached there around 11pm the manager denied me check-in as he said the contract is terminated with oyo and I have to pay 1121 rupees for the room and not 937 as mentioned on my app. As it was late night I paid the amount 1121 and checked in. Then i when i c checked my oyo app I was checked in in 107 but I was given 105. As I booked for the deluxe room but I was alloted standard room. The hotel staff was rude and said that's the only room left. If the contract is terminated why they took booking from oyo and why checked in my booking on oyo server. Oyo is also no help I mailed them everything with proof but they are just giving false assurance and TAT but not doing anything. Never trust oyo for your outstation bookings and particularly this hotel staff was rude. Even I am from himachal but the business like this gives bad reputation. Never book this hotel.

Non curteous staff. Once the guy sitting at front desk leaves at night, the in house staff starts bossing around. Suddenly Himachal has gone cold with recent spells of snowfall. Yet the hotel refuses to provide room heaters. Rooms are overall clean. But the attitude of staff give a bad image. Most of the noises heard are from staff itself. We were told breakfast starts at 7, at the time of check-in. Now the timing shifted to 8, and final serving time has come out at around 8.30, despite requesting that team has to leave early for district training. Even though wifi was mentioned in amenities, but password not shared. Hotel is placed off city. So if you plan to explore the market, you will have to travel a bit. Parking is an issue in the city, so better option is to walk down- 10-15 minutes walk. Mohan park in the vicinity is a good location to visit. 
Overall, rude and unprofessional behaviour of support staff makes it not a good hotel to plan stay.

Not a very satisfactory stay

The hotel is about 1km from the mall road (market area), walking distance though. We preferred this much distance because we wanted a quite place to stay and we got the same.
Situated at a quite place not secluded though. We took rooms with valley view. FYI, difference between Standard and Deluxe room is only Valley view which you can compromise also if not too keen for the view.

The hotel staff is accommodating and helpful. The manager at the reception was particularly very helpful to us in suggesting places to visit, arranging for a ride for us, suggesting where to stop for food and sight seeing.

The food at the hotel is also decent. Don't go for fancy items in the menu. We stuck to basics and had a good experience at their restaurant. We had the breakfast included in the package. They served us omelettes, toasts, parathan's, curd, juice, milk, cereals, fruits which was enough for a meal at this place.

It is very near to mohan park so you can click some great pictures there of the mountain range.

Decent Hotel, Quite, Serene Place

This s the best quite hotel in solan.Just near mohan park area.Rooms are good and valley view overlooking karol hill is beautiful and more beautiful during snowfall.Car park is not much of a problem.I remember sitting on the roof side sipping tea with friends.Food is good and service is ok.good place if stopping in solan .....overall rating out of 10 is 8.
