Very good hotel with nice spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is located in a quiet area. It is highly recommended. We were there during the Hola Mohalla festival. It is very nice to spend the night in this hotel after all the hustle and bustle. The breakfast is also very good and extensive

Loved this eco-resort, one step above glamping. The rooms were well decorated and spacious the food was traditional Indian. You could see on the grounds where your food was grown so super fresh and delicious. Our hosts were very accommodating with cocktail parties, dance demonstrations and tours to the nearby Shrine. I recommend this for groups, families and couples.  

The property is located in historical, holy Anandpur Sahib, one of the pilgrimage sites for Sikh adherents and is a hidden gem - contemplative and relaxing. Cottage rooms are private, spacious , comfortable and tastefully appointed with generous furniture, local handicrafts and a designer's eye. Outside gazebos afford the possibility of coffee and/or drinks to watch the dawn or setting sun. A dining hall serves all guests, as does a guesthouse with fireplace and furniture arranged for intimacy or group dynamics. Surrounding area is private, allowing the eye to travel uninterrupted, with walks along the river and on the grounds. The nearby Virasat-E-Khalsa museum is an absolute must, a world-class, beautifully curated museum of the Sikh faith. And if you are adventurous enough, go to the nearby gurdwara's langar (public eating hall) for a free meal of dal and roti along with 200-300 others at one seating!  And meet the volunteers who feed any and everyone who is hungry - a tenet and duty of the faith.

Wonderful accommodations with warm, clean and spacious cottages. The dining hall is a great place to gather and share a delicious meal. My family and friends laughed and had cocktails and played pool in the lounge. The owners are beyond gracious and hospitable!!!

We stayed at the lovely Anand at the Satluj for a beautiful family event.  We danced, we played pool, we dined.  The rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated.  The food was delicious and our hosts were beyond hospitable and accomdating.  Highly recommend.  

Me and my husband work in different time zones and this was the perfect place for us to spend some quality time together. This is a perfect getaway place for couples. This place also gives  the feels of the  local cuture.Staff is really cooperative and try their best to give you an outstanding experience. The interiors of this place are exquisite. I never knew that something so peaceful and serene existed in this area. Also, its really difficult for me to travel to the hills as i always suffer from motion sickness and by being at this place, i really felt that i was in the hills without travelling those extra miles. Would plan a trip again for sure.

Most happening place and  Very well taken care by team of Aanand at the satluj. Best hospitality given by team and very well maintained the property with good food. Thank you Shikhar and team  will definitely visit again.

When we landed this property it was hugely spread and all cottages look so beautiful that we are so excited to start our journey.

I spent one night at Ananda at the Sutlej with my daughter and mother in law, I must say that it was spectacular. It is beautifully located and child friendly as my daughter is only 2 years old. It is very close to Naina devi temple amd the famous Gurudwara for which we had travelled all the way ..The food was great and the staff looked after us very well . We wished to prolong our stay but hoping to come there soon with our full family next time .

I enjoyed a lot the ambiance and food both, I would suggest and prefer to stay on every visit for keep and calm environment.
Don't miss to enjoy the hospitality of Siddiqui Saab, he is the person equipped with full of knowledge and humble behavior for all the guest visiting the place.

Anand at the Satjuj is a unique proposition in the holy town of Shri Anandpur Sahib curated by Mr. Sodhi Vikram Singh. Built on the premise of rural Punjab farmhouse, the boutique hotel offers mesmerizing insight into the laidback life at a typical Punjab farmhouse.
The Hotel / Resort is built over substantial acres of farmland which is the private property of Mr Sodhi. The cottages appear to be rustic from the outside but are equipped with all the modern amenities inside. 
The decor is immaculate and the comfort is awesome. Perfect blend of relaxing stay while adoring the beautiful setting of countryside village.
There are activities such as SPA and Billiards as well at the property. Moreover, you can even enjoy a game of cricket if travelling in large group.
Coming to food, this is where I have deducted one star. Although the property mentions that it prepares food as per the occupancy of guests and doesn't believes in wastage of food, there is no excuse of providing stale food to the guests. We visited in the cold weather of December and all we were served was stale and cold food. When we resisted, we were met with stiff resistance from the property Manager and the support staff.
Only when I raised to escalate this to the Owners of the property, we were served hot and freshly prepared food in our cottages. This is one area where Management needs to give serious thought. Just leaving such a beautiful property to the mercy of unprofessional Managers will surely spoil the reputation of Anand at the Satluj.
As for the approach to the property, it is quite difficult and goes through a field and practically is non existent till the time someone from the property comes to fetch you on the highway and takes you to the property.
4 stars for the sheer experience and joy of being at this property. However, one star need to be improved upon the customer experience particularly on the food front.

Perfect getaway place for couples

The place is serene & off the beaten track . A cross between the rustic & the luxurious a place one can recoup & recover . It was a sombre reason we were visiting but the quiet & the greenery soothed our souls. The food was simple & homely . The route to the actual place is not metalled but they were good enough to send us a rider to lead the way . The rooms are comfortable & the bathrooms were well laid though running water was a bit of an issue .
