Gopi Nivas Grand Hotel one of the luxurious hotel in Kanyakumari.... best in class rooms, good breakfast menu, my stay was very memorable..... l recommend This hotel.... 
Front office manager Mr Paul was very polite and helpful and Housekeeping person Mr Mukeshanna was also very kind....
And Mr Santhosh was friendly and polite..... very helpful.... overall staff behaviour was class....

Note: If you are non Tamil, ask for a guy named Santosh at reception. He will be of great help!

Hotel is near to all the view points and tourist place, Santosh ji is very helpful and impressive, must visit hotel. Sunset view is very near, restaurant  food is also good, flush is not good, bathroom is not that good but overall the hotel is good to go.

Really good customer service and the rooms are well maintained. The spot is near all the tourist places like Vivekananda Rock, Kanyakumari temple and Gandhi memorial. The sunrise view point is also nearby. Easy booking.

Room is good, good staff, all the points are near by boat house and kanyakumari temple, sunset point, Gandhi memorial and all are good, to enjoy.  Booked this property based on reviews and needed to stay for only, but i think was a condition .

Hotel is good, staff is good, all the points are very near, room service staff santhosh is very good service, very helpful staffs, out side tour packages arrangements driver also very helpful, thankyou overall.

Good Stay neat and clean ,all place near to howl only walkable with good staff, hospitality was also good with nice supporting staff, good place of tourism nice beach, temple and all were near to the hotel.

Good place to stay ,friendly staff and all sight seeing places nearby walkable distance,breakfast served was good buffet, services was good,I and my family enjoyed the trip with good stay in Kanyakumari.

Good hotel near to everything at Kanyakumar. Almost everything is on walking distance.  Kanyakumari Temple, Main beach, Ferry point and main market everything is on walking distance from there.  Rooms were good neat and clean. The only problem was with the breakfast they provided.  Was not good.  I was surprised to see even south Indian food was not good in South India.

This property is one of the best in Kanyakumari. The stay was comfortable. Food was good. This place is very near to all main attractions in Kanyakumari. This property needs little bit maintenance in the few parts of the room. And the staffs need to be more professional. Otherwise it’s good for a day or 2 nights stay.

The hotel was Ok but was not in the sea viewing area.
Walkable distance to Kanyakumari mandir which was the best part of the stay.
The food was Ok. we only had dinner, didn't have breakfast so don't know about the breakfast.
Overall for one day, it was an OK place to stay.
For a better view of the sea and for a longer stay there were many big hotels nearby.

Ok Hotel. Near to mandir and vivekananda rock memorial.

The hotel does not have proper parking. The vehicles are parked on the road. It is a very poorly maintained old property, not at all clean. The restaurant has a very bad odor. We went and had to go back to the room. The food is ok taste wise. The only advantage is it is at a walking distance from Vivekananda Rock Memorial. They charge you a lot and we did not find it value for money. We had to stay for a night so we somehow managed. Overall, not a great experience at all.

Poorly maintained old property

They need to work on the hygiene and sanitation of the hotel as their rooms don't get fresh air and sun rays/ sunlight.

The staff of the hotel also needs to be more professional as we order the birthday cake after the discussion with the reception staff but when the cake reached the reception, they asked to go back and they didn't inform us of the same.

Do not book this hotel at all . The reviews are all fake . The room has water seepage marks all over , the room has mold . Bathrooms doors and other drawers are broken . Curtains and linens are dirty . Sticking smell in the room and the bathroom . Over and above there are roaches in the room . Just look at the dates of the certificates . Images are attached . The Government should take a strict actions against such hotels which is spoiling their tourism . 

Horrible Hotel 

Please, Please, Please believe me this is a perfect cheating with manipulated pictures. Rooms contains rats and spiders, toilet not clean, not maintained rooms, worst in my life. totally disappointed seeing this fake pictures. Worst experience, once again believe me or otherwise you will get cheated with fake images

One of the terrible service ever got. Rooms are extremely small. Bathroom conditions please don’t ask. There will be absolutely no mobile network in their ground floor room. There will be a senior person available at reception who will only allocate rooms. Reception staff is just a showcase. They will allocate 1st ground floor room. Staff are extremely rude & arrogant. I asked for a glass of water they said go to your room there is water bottle in the room. Room conditions are extremely pathetic. I will recommend not to book that hotel you will get many hotels in front of that hotel.

Honest Feedback:

It was not a very great experience. Our booking was from 26th Dec'2 to 28th Dec'22. 

The moment me and my family reached the hotel at around 3 PM on 26th Dec, the series of setback started, please see my bad experience sequentially:

1. Parking - There is no dedicated parking for guests, I had to struggle a lot in getting a space and the hotel staff were least supportive of this.

2. Room Quality - The room was stinking with bed sheets & pillows were not very fresh. Over that the A/c & TV was not working. There was no ventilation at all.

3. Toilet - The cummod was  broken and the cleanliness of the toilet was not that great.

I immediately decided to leave the hotel within 1 Hr of check in, as I went for a family vacation and didn't want to ruin even a single more minute of that. So, when I asked the hotel authorities for a refund they were not very polite about this and said they can't do anything and I will need to contact Goibibo (as booking was done via Goibibo). Somehow Goibibo customer care was able to get a refund but that too only for 1 day.

I immediately vacated the room but at the loss of 1 day room charges which was staggering INR 9K. Can somebody explain why my entire refund was not done even when I vacated the room within 1 Hr, I am at a loss of INR 9K for the fault which was entirely due to Hotel authority and not due to my issue.

Initially I did the reservation based on the feedback & pics which was available in various travel and hotel websites (tripadvisor, booking.com, etc). But now I strongly believe that those feedbacks and pics were not accurate and it's a illusion, the quality of rooms & staff services were not even close to these feedback & rankings.
