If you are looking for a home stay experience, then this is the perfect place.  The rooms are spacious and has variety of options to stay (2, 4, 6 or even more bedded). Great hospitality and good food.  Mr. Senthil who manages this property personally supervises the requirements of the guests.  

The home stay is in a very ideal location with close access to Top Slip and Parambikulam WLS.  One can easily commute to Aliyar and Valparai within 90 minutes.

We fifteen and four children went to Top Slip and Parambikulam tour. We tried night stay at Parambikulam Resort. But not get almost all the resorts were full. That time we came to know that this Villa and we sent a mail to info@westernghatsvillas.com and we get reply form villa.

After that we sent our expectations and menu aminities in details. One person Mr. Senthil (I Think he is Manager or Partner) is very kind and honost person. What he accept was done by him. 

Room and Food was very good.

Enjoyment in Swimming Pool was good. (Please take care of Children's. It is 4.5 feet to 7 Feet deep)

Totally all was well.

"Closer to the Nature"

Unexpected the Experience

We stayed here for two nights prior to going in to Parambikulum Tiger Reserve. We had paid in advance inlcuding 3000 rupees for  45 mins elephant ride  and jungle safari. The bed had no sheets. only mattress covers and blankets and rock hard pillows. The bathroom had a toilet, no toilet paper, but when you flushed it all the water came out the bottom of the cistern, so you had to use the bucket method to flush. there was hot water.It was very smelly.
It has a pool, cloudy and fully of leaf fall, there is a net but you need to clear the debris yourself, not a big problem but the pool has some broken tiles ( some under water with razor sharp edges) and the pool areas is surrounded with barbed wire and a padlocked gate?
the money we had paid for the elephant ride etc resulted in a taxi appearing at the site the following morning no Engish spoken. He took us to Animali reserve but we had to pay again for the ellie ride and for the jungle safari. The only member of staff who spoke English (Sethnil) never appeared, the others shaking their heads when we tried to discuss. The food was quite good but the tables never wiped, at breakfast, the evenings cups were still on the table.
Don't do it, there has to be abetter way. The worst place we stayed by a long way.

Disappointing

railway retiring rooms are rated five star when compared to western ghats villas, pay and use toilets for the public is fantastic than this resort, normal lunch and dinner charged INR1200/-, room rates is equivalent to fivestar rates , where the rooms are similar to a lodge, the blankets and sheets never washed since the hotel started, in a nutshell this is not a resort , but a bus station lodge

For god's sake please don't think about this western ghats villas never for your trip stay .UNEXPLAINABLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Following were the tortures we had in that most untidy place we have ever visited in our life.

1. bedsheets were never cleaned since the opening of the resort.
2. bathrooms and rooms were very shabby and untidy.
3. food very horribble, even 5 star hotels will never charge for food like the way this    fellow had charged. We had to travel 25 kms and search in pollachi for good hotels   as the food served was VERY GOOD .
4. the manager or the fellow who is in charge of everything doesn't have any sort of hospitality. He behaved as if he is running some free service.
5. no soap stand in the bathroom. 
6. Before the owners come belongings were thrown out from the rooms for the next looting sequence.
7. no soaps,towel and toothpaste served for the customers.
8. Have you ever heard of collecting room rent by counting the no: of people staying in a room (2200/person) . For this rate you can opt for star hotels.
   In a nutshell, we really had very bad experience
