Best Hospitality Received from Shiva. He has organised everything to perfection. When we asked for few hours of house boat, he quickly obliged and made us had a great trip on the boat.. lunch on the boat was amazing.. authentic Kerala style food.. 

Staff on boat were wonderful and provided a great service..

Highly recommended..

We booked premium houseboat from south tourism for one night stay , I told you it was great experience stay in houseboat and ride in back water , Rooms are clean , 24 hour AC , Food was awesome which was included in package , Please visit and remember your lifetime experience  .. We had one night on this delightful houseboat. The staff made our cruise on the backwaters very relaxing and pleasurable. The cook on board made very tasty and authentic food and the captain steered us peacefully on the waters. The boat was very clean and comfortable. It was delightful to watch the people who live on the river go about their lives, washing, fishing, going to school. Coloured houses along the river, with their reflections among the palm trees, were a painter’s delight. Would absolutely recommend this experience.

I was there with complete family for my Kid’s first birthday. This was immediately after Kerela Floods but the way Manager-Shiva and his team arranged everything, made the day memorable. The cleanliness of this place was exemplary. The USP of this place is friendly staff, great garden and homely freedom. They are open customers menu selection and are good at Kerela Cuisines. House boat is very nice nd clean. This place worth every single penny we pay.

We had an awesome time at the houseboat...we get to stay in their resort and enjoy the cruise in the daytime...The place was kept very neat and we were served yummy food..the food variety can be increased...The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a houseboat experience!

This is a small heaven in Nedumudi, Allapuzha. The boat is very neat and spacious. They showed true hospitality in terms of every aspect during our stay. A must visit place. Special thanks to the manager, who was very helpful and very nice service people.

The stay in Houseboat was really good. However, there was a strike of houseboats on our arrival, still the staff of Gouri's arranged a small ferry boat for a trip on backwaters. 

The stay inside houseboat is really peaceful and with privacy. 

The food served here is a typical Kerala food which was prepared just before serving, there was only excellent experience.

After having two distinctly average and falsley advertised houseboat experiences on the Nile and Halong Bay I was nervous. However, we hit the jackpot with these guys. I had read in the Lonely Planet to book a houseboat much closer to your stay to get competitive prices. ( we had looked three months prior and prices were nearly triple) So we took a risk and booked two days prior to our stay.
This is a small caring operator who showed attention to detail and the boat was really clean and nicely appointed. I was glad we didn't choose a big company as they tend to make things more like a package and inauthentic.
The food was homecooked and excellent -( chef on board) and the staff friendly and kind. The mooring was outside their homestay which was just out of  Alleppy which made it even better. We didn't feel like we were having the experience with 280 other boats.
The backwaters were fantastic and the plus was in the morning over breakfast you had an hour cruise to see the locals starting their day on the water.
Had a little drive of the boat and even got to use the horn! And optional bananafry for afternoon tea. Stuff of dreams.

A horrible and disastrous experience rather would I say for this stay. We had booked this luxury houseboat for one night and were expecting to have a very calm and peaceful, but to our surprise this turned out to be the painful and exhausting day for us. There were three guys to look after the guests in houseboat and one of them- the cook was the only one because of which our stay was ruined. He served us a bowl of sambhar for a 4 person lunch and when we asked for more sambhar , he refused to give us saying that we can’t ask them for more. He made insensitive and shrewd remarks like asking whether we ever stayed in hotel, and commenting on our appetite. The boathouse’s towel and bed sheet were also not clean and when we called boat manager to see, he made remarks like we did it intentionally.
