We had a wonderful stay at Karithanam Ayur farms. Beautiful house- looks traditional but with all the modern aminities, serene surroundings and the bestest part were the wonderful hosts. We truly felt home and very comfortable at Karithanam. We had taken almost all the rooms available there for a wedding and our group consisted of very young children to aged people. Our hosts were very caring and catering to almost every need of this diverse group. Thank you Preethy. All of us really loved the stay there and have come back with a lot of lovely memories.

Karithanam Ayur Farms is a wonderful place to get away from it all and have a relaxing, tranquil holiday.  Its not too far from Kochi (1 hr on decent roads) but it feels like one has escaped the hustle bustle of the city and escaped to a quiet little hamlet.  You can explore the garden with fruit trees and little  pathways or sit back and relax on the porch. The house itself is gorgeous  with all modern amenities but designed in the traditional Kerala style with an atrium, cool tile floors and many cozy nooks to unwind with a favorite book.

The host's are warm and gracious and eager to help share their local knowledge or organize a boating trip in the nearby backwaters.

I wish I could have stayed a week in this quaint little corner of India, it has so much to offer.

Such a sincere, warm and caring hospitality I have never experienced before. We stayed there for three nights together with our kids ( all in their twenties) and had a super wonderful time.  We were taken to local festivals, both in the village and in the surrounding towns. In each place we were welcomed in a very special way.  Mr. Thomas took us in the morning to a walk in the village and we loved it. We had the opportunity to see how the locals live in different social classes. In the evening , he took us to Theyam performance aswell. Mrs. Pretty was amazing in accomodating us. She cooked for us considering our tastes and wishes and we were so grateful each meal. I was lucky to exchange recipes with her. In addition to it being very very delicious, it was very diverse so we had a chance to get a taste of the local traditions. We felt at home and loved every minute being there. They also helped us fulfil each wish we have had...backwater cruises,  transportation and more. Thank you!!!

I loved the place....starting from warm welcome, ambience and more than anything hospitality was fabulous. I would definitely say as preethy said ...planning to visit kerala than this is the place to stay ...cheers ..

This is definitely one of the best resorts in Vaikom. Calm n serene ambiance. Decent rooms with clean surroundings and good food with fantastic service. All of this magnificence was for pricing that is well below other resorts nearby. As soon as we checked-in, we were taken for a 2 hour boat cruise through the backwaters which was truly awesome. One of the plus points about the resort are the Hosts- Preethy & Uday, who are very friendly and always willing to help, what made us feel at home. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend for those people who wants to get away from the busy world outside!!!! :)
