Very clean rooms with close location to the bus stand.
Friendly and helpful staff- sham was able to recommend local restaurants and he organised a canoe boat trip which was incredible.
Nice roof top area to relax in evenings with live music.

This review is loooooong overdue, and for that I apologise. My girlfriend and I stayed here from the end of January until the first week in February through the recommendation of a girl (Junee) who my girlfriend met at a cafe when we first arrived. What a recommendation! Staff are amazing! They were fully booked when we arrived but the cook let us have his room and we moved to our own the next day. We did protest and asked to sleep upstairs in the awesome rooftop cafe (hammocks and refreshments galore) but they wouldn't hear of it. They organise backwater trips and as it was my partners birthday when we arrived they let us party and dance upstairs all night (and morning), the staff joining in with the celebrations. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Ten out of five! And thanks again to the staff!

Clean big fan rooms with nice private bathroom for good price (and Rs500/double room), possible to book online. Some rooms have access to a small common balcony. 

Rooftop cafe.

For food outside, we can advice Thaff family restaurant (walking distance, by the north canal crossing with Mullackal road). Nice food for good price.

Beer and wine parlour is next to the bus station (almost round the corner).
